Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Maybe I put the cart before the horse by trying to organize the Letterman boycott without fully explaining why I'm doing it. (But hey, it got me an Instalanche!)
Two bloggers that I respect, Scott Martin and The Anchoress say a boycott is an over-the-top over-reaction. And perhaps taken as an isolated incident, Letterman's sick "joke" may indeed not warrant such a response. That is, in the abstract, they have a point.
But I thought of how the lefties reacted to Don Imus ("nappy headed hos") and how Kellogg dumped Michael Phelps like yesterday's trash when one photo of him taking a bong hit made the rounds. Then there's how Mel Gibson and Michael Richards and that fellow from Grey's Anatomy whose name I can't recall were vilified for their un-politically-correct comments.
Selective outrage and double standards cheese me off. Why should Letterman get a pass? What would ACORN and DailyKos and FireDogLake do if Rush Limbaugh tossed around a sexual innuendo or 2 about Michelle Obama or Chelsea Clinton?
Fight fire with fire, I say. What's the worst that can happen? The lefties get a small does of their own medicine? They've been playing the grievance card for decades. Conservatives and Republicans are constantly on the ropes, always unsure of when the next firestorm of liberal opprobrium will ignite.
So I said, stop playing defense. Go on the offensive. It might not work, we may not succeed in affecting Letterman or CBS one iota. OK, we tried and it's still a learning experience. It's another notch in the belt of conservative activism (akin to the Tea Parties).
But admit it, how cool would it be if Letterman got fired?
UPDATE 13 Jun 2009 11:49:
Another vote for getting Letterman fired!
Conservative lesbian Cynthia Yockey: More on how to get Letterman fired . and why Republicans need to do so. (h/t Instapundit)
Cynthia emphasizes this isn't an easy process; it'll take 30 days or more of concerted letter writing to the head honchos at CBS and Letterman's sponsors to really get their attention. Otherwise they'll just let the imbroglio blow over. She's got the 411 on how to contact their CEO's and Board of Directors members. Those are the guys who can force CBS to send Letterman to the unemployment line.
Real actual snail mail letters are best. Just remember, be polite!
