Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
When every terrorist gets a lawyer the Navy SEALs get the shaft. (h/t Pat Austin)
Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.
Un-be-freakin-lievable! Wanna bet that Eric Holder personally apologizes to this lowlife before petitioning President Obama to grant him a pardon?
The criminalization of terrorism leads directly to travesties like this. Abed is a terrorist; an enemy of the United States, and a gleeful killer of U.S. citizens. So naturally the Obama Administration treats him like just another purse snatcher.
Three SEALs, doing their job, protecting their country from Abed and his ilk, are suddenly the bad guys? Because he's got a fat lip? Did they hurt his precious feelings too?
TigerHawk is spot-on when he says "this is what happens when you put lawyers in charge":
Of course, the real problem is that the criminalization of military action will make it much harder to attract top people to the armed services, and that will work to the advantage of every country in the world that (i) has a small military, or (ii) does not have rule of law. Which is every country in the world except the United States and Israel.
Our SEALs deserve a medal, not a court-martial. They pulled off a daring snatch-and-grab raid, taking no casualties, and it's just too darn bad if the TIQ ("Tango-In-Question") got roughed up in the process. What he should have got was the right to remain dead.
This is another slap in the faces of those we ask to do the toughest job on the damn planet. I think it may just be time to have a no prisoners policy. All of the organs of our government now seem to be more concerned with the safety and legal rights of murderous barbarians and oblivious to the damage they are doing to the morale and esprit de corps of our troops, not to mention the safety of our country.
Maybe that putz Pat Leahy was partially right; we don't need the hassle that goes with interrogating Bin Laden. The unlucky guys who capture his sick ass will undergo more scrutiny than Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction. Woe unto them if even one hair on Osama's scraggly beard is out of place.
The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist. Shoot the sumbitch.
