There is no low which is too low to stoop for the "gay rights" crowd.
In Fayetteville, Ark. they plan to exploit a ten year old boy as they march for "Gay Pride". NAMBLA would approve!
When the Fayetteville, Ark., Gay Pride Parade steps off on East Street Saturday on its way to the Walton Art Center parking lot, it will be led by a young man who has made a career out of fighting for gay rights.
Make that a young boy. Will Phillips, the grand marshal, is 10 years old, and his presence has thrust Fayetteville's Gay Pride Parade into the national spotlight.
Ten year olds for Sodomy! Who wouldn't be proud of that?
This Phillips kid (or more likely one or more "adults" egging him on) is something of a grandstander. Last year he refused to stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance in school to show his support for "gay rights".
The boy has begun a media blitz of local and national television stations, explaining that he refused to recite the Pledge of Allegiance because it says "all men are created equal," but gays don't have the same rights as everyone else. That, the boy says, is why he has become an ambassador of gay rights.
Sigh. "In America, the young are always ready to give those who are older than themselves the full benefit of their inexperience." — Oscar Wilde.
Hey kid, the Pledge doesn't say "all women are created equal" either. Can the feminuts borrow you for a few parades next week? I mean, even at the ripe old age of ten you're an equal opportunity demagogue, aren't you?
Surprisingly there are at least a few members of the pink team who are a wee bit troubled about young Will being the poster child for their bacchanalian blowout.
Even within the gay alliance in Arkansas, Will's role has sparked tension. In reaction to the AFA's charges that children who attend the parade would be in danger, organizer Joney Harper said: "We are not San Francisco ... New York ... we're pretty much a family affair, so it is pretty safe to be there."
See, didn't I tell you guys that whole public blowjobs thing was bound to be fun for the whole family?
That remark prompted other gay groups to attack him for implying that children might not be safe at Pride gatherings in San Francisco or New York.
Gee, ya think? Why wouldn't our kids be safe hanging around with deviants in studded leather and buttless chaps leading each around other on dog leashes?
They're willing to publicly exploit a ten year old boy to advance their cause. Can you imagine what they do with this poor kid when they get him alone in a room?
C'mon in kid, how about a San Francisco Handshake?
A family affair indeed!

UPDATE 28 Jun 2010 14:46:
I appear to have aroused the, er ire, of some poofter at the Village Voice.
His name is Roy Edroso and he writes a column for the Voice called Exploring the Right Wing Blogosphere where the vitriol runs free and the elevator music is all showtunes all the time.
"Ten year olds for Sodomy! Who wouldn't be proud of that?" roared Chris Wysocki of WyBlog. (He also called young Phillips a "grandstander"; in fairness, judging by the quality of his prose, Wysocki may be 10 years old himself.)
In your dreams Chief. Although in contrapuntal fairness, something written by the average 10 year old is probably way ahead of the tripe you turn out.
But hey, maybe you're angling for David Weigel's job! Are you one of the junior high class moms on Journolist?
