Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Every day there are probably millions of silly ideas bantered about by people all over the world. 99.9% of those ideas never see the light of day. But once in a while an idea so colossally stupid, one which beggars the very definition of idiocy, comes forth and no amount of ridicule can stop it from becoming the law of the land.
The United States Government plans to impose a tax on cow farts.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed taxing cows as a way to regulate greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act.
According to the EPA, the gas that leaks from millions of cows and livestock is, pound for pound, about 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere.
Under the EPA proposal, the permit costs potentially translate into $175 per dairy cow, $87.50 a head for beef cattle and $20 per hog.
At issue is the methane gas emitted via bovine flatulence. The proponents of Global Warming theory contend that this methane gas has become one of the leading contributors to climate change. Their "solution" is to impose a carbon tax on the cows. I'm not exactly sure just how taxing cow farts will reduce global warming; perhaps the revenue will help pay for climatologists' junkets to conferences in exotic locales where deep thoughts will be considered.
Or, more likely, the tax will result in fewer dairy and livestock farms as the farmers decide it's not worth trying to feed people anymore. We'll all have to pay higher prices for reduced supplies of milk, beef, and pork.
Instead of taxing cow farts maybe we should impose a stupidity tax on
government bureaucrats. Or tax their hot air and dumb regulations which
on a per capita basis cause far more problems than a bunch of cows.
