Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Controversial Fox News host Glenn Beck has attracted his share of detractors. Even inside our government. Van Jones for one, and Yosi Sergant, former Communications Director for the National Endowment for the Arts.
But now Mr. Beck has drawn the ire of the United States Postal Service. (h/t Memeorandum)
"The Postal Service's Advertising Department purchased a block of advertising time from FOX and FOX placed some of our ad time during this program," said Sandra Latham, a spokesperson for USPS, in an email to ColorOfChange.org. "We contacted FOX when the issue occurred several weeks ago and advised FOX to not use our allotted ads during this program."
The United States Postal Service is a quasi-governmental agency. They hold a government granted monopoly on mail delivery. They have no business taking sides in a political matter.
The fact that they have done so shows just how appallingly politicized the entire federal bureaucracy has become under the "leadership" of Barack Obama. He has federally funded artists shilling for socialized medicine and now the stamps we buy are being used to pick winners and losers in cable news shows.
This is a line in the sand. I have purchased my last stamp. Never again will I use the Postal Service. I'm going to switch all my bills to electronic delivery (I get most of them that way already). The checks that I mail locally will now be hand-delivered. Christmas cards? Fuggedaboutit.
If the Post Office can use their dollars to influence the political process, I can direct my dollars elsewhere.
Boycott the USPS. Who's with me?
