Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

Swine Flu hysteria infects RPI
Beer pong is the latest casualty of the Swine Flu hysteria. Students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have been banned from playing the popular drinking game due to fears that sharing beers may lead to a spread of the Swine Flu virus on campus.
Oh how the Tute has changed! In my day sharing beers was de rigueur, especially with our professors during GM Week. (Good ole Norm Free would ride us mercilessly if no one brought an extra beer for him when the Molson trucks were parked around the '86 Field!)
Now the pansies running the place are shutting down the Theta Xi beer pong championships? This kind of nonsense wouldn't have been possible back when Doc Pahl ran the infirmary.
It's madness I tell you! Madness!
