Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
I belong to a confederation of bloggers called 9Rules. It's a pretty cool way to interact with bloggers from a rather diverse (and almost 99.44% liberal) background. (So, why did they let you in? Beats the crap outta me!)
"Patrix" posted this picture of Obama featured in TIME Magazine.
'Burdened' Obama Time Cover
An amazing portrait. It consists of 12,680 individual characters ... and includes type from Obama's campaign and branding.
It is brilliant not just because of the unique use of typography but also in the manner it captures the zeitgeist of our troubled times.
I left a comment: "If he's so 'burdened' he shouldn't have asked for the job. Reagan faced worse, and he did it with style and aplomb."
Patrix belongs to the Thou Shalt Not Denigrate Depictions of The One school of art criticism:
@Chris Wysocki: LOL! I don't think anyone apart from a Republican fringe is asking him to be impeached. He could be 'burdened' and serve another term.
And of course, Reagan worship. Get over it. Find a new role model. He wasn't as great as you make him out to be.
And this post was about typography and art. Thanks for injecting your ideology where it doesn't belong.
Well Mr. Big Shot Art Critic, you injected the ideology when you called the picture "brilliant" because of how "it captures the zeitgeist of our troubled times."
Why should Obama feel so 'burdened' by the problems he faces? Every president has faced problems! Some handled them better than others. Why are these times more troubled than any other? Someone who had actual experience before he was elected might have anticipated the burdens of the job.
And how do you go from me saying he shouldn't have asked for the job to the nether-regions of calling for his impeachment? Are you channeling a liberal stereotype of conservatives and lumping all of us into one convenient intellectually bankrupt thought bucket so you don't have to actually consider what we have to say?
Obama is 'burdened' because he isn't up to the job. He's in over his head, and flailing about, searching for a lifeline. When he has the audacity to say we don't accept his policies because he hasn't explained them in simple enough terms to us it actually says more about his narcissism than it does about our intelligence. We understand his policies just fine. We just don't happen to like them very much.
When it comes to communicating, governing, or any other measure, I'll stack Ronald Reagan up against Barack Obama any day of the week. President Reagan ended the Cold War and brought prosperity to America. Barry got laughed out of Copenhagen and has managed to snub or insult every friend of America he's met (cough, boxed DVD sets of his speeches, cough) while sucking up to murderous dictators like Chavez and Ahmadinejad.
Oh, and one last piece of advice there sport. Prissy, snide, insulting
responses to reader comments are no way to encourage people to read your
blog or comment again.
