Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
But if you're an unborn baby, your government will be all to happy to fully fund the extermination of your tenuous grip on life. And, if you're an illegal alien, welcome to free healthcare courtesy of the American taxpayer. For this Ben Nelson sold his soul in exchange for 30 pieces of silver wrapped up as Medicaid funding carve outs specifically targeted for residents of Nebraska.
Harry Reid has at last bought his 60 votes. Still, even he knows just how tawdry and insidious this whole monstrosity is. That's why he's holding his cloture vote at 1:00 AM on a Sunday night. That's when 58 Democrats and 2 "Independents" will sanctify the unholy mess that is ObamaCare.
In the dark of night they will enact that which cannot countenance the light of day. The vampire metaphor is apt — for they mean to suck the lifeblood out of each and every one of us. Just as they gleefully watch pathetic excuses for "doctors" suck the still beating hearts out of countless innocent children.
One sixth of our nation's economy will be brought under government control, and strangled via all the bureaucratic efficiency we've come to expect from the DMV. They dare not let us see the details because the more we know about it the less we like what they're doing.
The Progressive agenda has wrought the downfall of American exceptionalism. Their Chosen One does not believe in it, and now they have forevermore redefined our Founders great ideal of equality of opportunity into equality of mediocrity.
We will pay more to get less. Those of us with insurance will pay higher premiums; and those of us who work for a living will pay higher taxes to buy insurance for other people. If you think you have the freedom to forego insurance, you're in for a rude shock. Insurance is mandatory; noncompliance will land you in jail.
Surely health care will be rationed. They've already told women that mammograms are unnecessary and pap smears are a waste of time. Expect more diktats from the Obamabots in which we're assured that the restrictions they impose are really for our own good.
Doctors, already stretched thin, will be forced to see more patients who will pay them less. Sounds like a winning career path to me! Who could resist the allure of longer hours for lower pay? Your specialist who graduated from Johns Hopkins will hang up his stethoscope and be replaced by some 3rd world reject who got his medical degree from a correspondence school in Togo.
Everything that you need to know about Harry Reid's abomination can be summed up thusly — it's good enough for you and me but most certainly not for him and his beknighted peers in Washington, DC. They won't be subjected to ObamaCare; they're too important to have to stand in line with the riff raff.
They've taken a system where some people get extraordinary care and some unfortunately get no care and turned it into one where everyone (except of course the politicians who foisted this crap on us) will be forced to wait longer for ever more mediocre health care.
Progressives will rejoice in our misery because to them equality of outcome supercedes any hint of exceptionalism. They'll pat themselves on the back for bringing health insurance to the poor and underprivileged, but not notice that everyone is now poor and underprivileged.
The majority of the sheep in this country are too busy this week hustling for
the last Zhu-Zhu Pet or Wii Fit to be paying much attention to Harry Reid. But
maybe when the full specter of what the Democrats have done to us finally sinks
in they'll awaken from their slumber. Maybe the tide of public approbrium will
hang this albatross around the neck of every last one of them and sweep their
despicable slimy political carcasses deep into the abyss from whence ObamaCare
emerged, perhaps even before our way of life is irrevocably destroyed.
