Is anyone really surprised the Obama White House lied about the Beghazi talking points?

The Obamabots don't care; their guy won, and all's fair when it leads to a win for their team. The Conservatives care, but we can't impeach America's Great Black Hope, so what's the point of repeatedly wringing our hands over the deaths of 4 brave men, right?

It's a damn shame though. A political hack named Ben Rhodes, loyal only to Barack Obama, ordered Susan Rice to deliberately lie to the American people.

Why? To ensure his boss got re-elected.

This is not hard to understand. It has never been hard to understand. The White House knew how this attack would look on President Obama's foreign policy credentials. It would have looked as if Obama's foreign policy was weak and a failure. In other words, it would have highlighted the truth of the matter and almost certainly, it would have affected his chances of defeating Mitt Romney and of winning another four-year term. His team couldn't have that, so they launched the campaign of lies that were designed to shield their boss from the truth of the matter. It worked long enough for him to pull off a victory, with the help of the media, who has covered his tracks. We now know it was all lies designed to protect President Barack Obama.

What you may not know is just how complicit the media was in all of this.

You know, the very same CBS News which fired Sharyl Attkisson for digging too deeply into the truth about Benghazi. Does anyone here really believe the Rhodes brothers didn't coordinate their actions or share information?

It was all about keeping the lid on a major foreign policy failure until after the 2012 election. Candy Crowley helped. As did most of the mainstream media.

There's the Real Scandal. The media isn't a watchdog; they're lapdogs. And they can no longer pretend otherwise.
