Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
The nation's unemployment rate rose to 9.7% last month, the highest it's been in 26 years.
Meanwhile Vice President Joe Biden (aka the Czar of Smoke & Mirrors) is busy touting the benefits of Obama's massive Porkulus spending plan:
"The Recovery Act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy and changing the conversation about the economy in this country," Biden said in a speech at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank. "Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession."
Not from where I sit. Maybe the Vice President thinks things are looking up because his boss is ready to hire another 270,000 bureaucrats. But out here in the Real World the outlook remains grim.
How grim? Well since liberals love the compelling personal narrative so much, how about mine? My wife was laid off last month because sales at the company she worked for were essentially nonexistent for most of this year. None of that Stimulus money has translated into businesses in our area buying new phone systems.
And so she's a statistic, a blip not even noticeable to President Hopey-Changey-Guy as he continues his inexorable drive to spend this country into bankruptcy.
Ronald Reagan ended a recession by cutting taxes and reducing government spending. Barack Obama wants us to believe he can end a recession by raising taxes (next year's expiration of the Bush tax cuts looms large) and massively increasing the size and scope of government. It isn't working and it's never going to work, no matter how many times Joe Biden tries to tell us differently.
