Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

Obama wants his "Making Work Pay" tax credit back
It was the signature tax break in Barry's massive $787 billion stimulus package. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit cut federal taxes by $400 for individuals and $800 for couples. We started seeing the credit in our paychecks back in April via lower withholding.
Now the Treasury Department's Inspector General says "oops, most of us got too much of a credit." If you have more than one job, or your spouse works too, or you collect Social Security in addition to other income, well the IRS is going to want that tax credit back by April 15th of next year.
Tough luck if you already spent it.
Obama giveth and Obama taketh away.
