Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Back in January and February it was imperative to get the $787 Billion Stimulus package passed asap. We were warned unemployment would hit 8% if something wasn't done right away. The Congress rushed the package through and President Obama signed it with great fanfare even before the ink had dried or anyone had bothered to read the whole thing.
Fast forward 5 months and unemployment sits at 9.5%. Suddenly Obama is saying that the unemployment rate could hit 10% next month. Vice President Joe Biden now admits the administration "misread" the economy. But don't worry! President Obama reassures us things will work out, it'll just take more time. How much more time? Maybe 2 years. How nice.
If it will take 2 years for the government to "fix" our economy, why was it necessary to ram the "fix" through in less than a week? Shouldn't they have taken some time to, oh I don't know, deliberate for a while? Maybe even study the problem before rushing forward with a solution? Perhaps they could have avoided "misreading" the situation?
Instead Obama and his cronies have piled czars upon czars to manage virtually every facet of our economy. Czars who incidentally have little experience (a 30 year old running GM?) and were never vetted or confirmed by our elected representatives. Sure sounds like a dictatorship to me!
Fixing the economy was not, and is not now, the penultimate goal here. Control is their mission; Obama wants to run every facet of our lives. Cradle to grave socialism, nationalized industries, nanny state bureaucrats dictating what we eat and who we sleep with, and in their coup de grace — Obamacare — complete government hegemony over our health care. Bureaucrats instead of doctors will determine which medicines we can take and what treatments will be most effective (as in cost effective).
Obamunism is here. They have a Five Year Plan. And when that plan inevitably fails, they'll pin the blame on malcontents and interlopers, and of course promise that the new Five Year Plan will lead us to the promised land. Even if the promised land looks an awful lot like a re-education camp.
America is doomed.
