A Nobel Peach Prize two-fer: Arms training for Syrian al Qaeda, and Marines for Morsi
Did you know that Obama's CIA is actively training Syrian "rebels" to use advanced anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons?
CIA operatives and U.S. special operations troops have been secretly training Syrian rebels with anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons since late last year, months before President Obama approved plans to begin directly arming them, according to U.S. officials and rebel commanders.
The training has involved fighters from the Free Syrian Army, a loose confederation of rebel groups that the Obama administration has promised to back with expanded military assistance, said a U.S. official, who discussed the effort anonymously because he was not authorized to disclose details.
And here's where the Real Fun begins, because by "rebels" I mean, of course, al Qaeda. Or rather, al Qaeda's Syrian branch, known as the al Nusra Front, which is a key player in this so-called "loose configuration of rebel groups."
Al Qaeda with anti-aircraft weapons, what could go wrong?
But wait, there's more!
Marines for Morsi — U.S. soldiers deployed to Egypt so they can help the Muslim Brotherhood "restore order."
A group of soldiers are preparing for their deployment to Egypt with riot training on post.
They're planning ahead for violent protests or riots and the possibility of protecting the country's border with Israel.
Somewhere, Lara Logan is crying.
Trust Obama! Because Syria is "too complicated" for us mere mortals to understand.
As for why we're helping the Muslim Brotherhood beat the living shit out of everyday Egyptians, I guess that's not something we're supposed to understand either.
I'm with Sarah Palin, let 'em kill each other. Allah can sort it out.
But then, if we did that, Obama couldn't pretend he's Caliph.
