Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

Biltmore Barry took a hike
Barry and Michelle are just like you and me; they took a vacation in the mountains of North Carolina and went on a hike. Some bozo was recruited for a photo op, and the media slobbered all over themselves.
The story the media has happily told is the hiker who came across the Obamas on the trail they were hiking in the mountains. According to Brian Williams on NBC, the hiker easily approached Obama and asked are you who I think you are.
You mean the idiot didn't know after being searched by the Secret Service a few hundred yards up the trail, ensuring the trail was safe for Dear Leader and his America hating wife? Oh, but the press go nuts. Obama is just an average guy on a middle class vacation reaching out to normal people, and had this chance meeting on a hiking trail.
Oh yeah, some "normal guy". Either Joe Random Hiker is the biggest pothead since Cheech and Chong or the whole thing was staged. I'm just guessing here, but the Secret Service probably wouldn't let a pothead get within a mile of the Dear Leader. (Larry Sinclair, please call your office...)
"Normal guys" don't stay at The Grove Park Inn or The Greenbriar. I've been to Asheville. I'm a "normal guy". I stayed at the Best Western.
So in between rounds of golf at exclusive country clubs our Normal Guy In Chief
took a hike and ate some BBQ. Good for him. The hike I mean. In November
when the voters tell him to "Take a Hike!" he'll already be experienced.
