Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Now that General Stanley McChrystal has imprudently shot off his mouth and tendered his resignation speculation is rampant as to who Obama will tap to succeed him.
Conventional wisdom says it will be another top general. Marine General James Mattis is the obvious choice. Lt. Gen. John Allen is also eminently qualified.
But let's stop to consider how Barack Obama thinks. First and foremost he wants somebody he can trust. Someone he's known for a long time. A guy who doesn't make him uncomfortable when he walks into the room.
There aren't a whole lot of military guys who fit that description. But there is one long-time Friend of Barry who has experience with terrorism and insurgencies.
Bill Ayers.
Hey, Bill Ayers is at least as qualified to lead in Afghanistan as Elena Kagan is to sit on the Supreme Court. And the nutroots will howl with delight as their Dear Leader picks one of their own to really stick it to those war-mongering baby-killers in the Pentagon.
Remember, never let a good crisis go to waste.
General William C. Ayers. You heard it here first!
UPDATE 23 Jun 2010 18:11:
Linked by The Rhetorican, thanks!
And yes, I am surprised by the Petraeus pick. He wasn't exactly Barry's favorite general back during the 2008 presidential campaign. And it's kind of a demotion, being asked to replace one of his subordinates has gotta sting a little.
Could it be a setup? I dunno. But if anybody can win in Afghanistan it's David Petraeus, so there's that going for us.
