The very bad: Senate rejects background checks on gun purchases in bipartisan vote.
The Senate delivered a devastating blow to President Obama's agenda to regulate guns Wednesday by defeating a bipartisan proposal to expand background checks.
It failed by a vote of 54 to 46, with five Democrats voting against it. Only four Republicans supported it.
Oops. So much for waving the bloody shirt, eh Barry?
The totally not good: Alleged McConnell Bugger Visited White House
The head of a group accused of illegally taping private meetings of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's campaign visited the White House days before the group's Twitter account began actively attacking the Kentucky Republican, according to White House visitor logs.
Oops. So much for that "no Democrats were involved in this fiasco" theory, eh Barry?
The completely horrible: CBS News has learned that previously unknown whistleblowers on #Benghazi are now speaking to Congressional investigators.
Sixty Minutes Barry. Once they dig in their claws they don't let go. Yes, even if all the evidence points to you. Because the mothers of the four men killed in Benghazi could be reached for comment, since by now Darrell Issa has them on speed dial.
Funny how they never got a radio address to call their own. A
"Sinty Minutes" gig? That's better. Unless you're Barack Obama.
Because I'm sure he'd
rather be golfing.
