Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
The New York State Senate voted today to affirm the defintion of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Of course the media coverage spins their action as a "defeat", calling it a vote "against" gay marriage.
The State Senate defeated a bill on Wednesday that would legalize same-sex marriage, after an emotional debate that touched on civil rights, family and history. The vote means that the bill, pushed by Gov. David A. Paterson, is effectively dead for the year and dashes the optimism of gay rights advocates, who have had setbacks recently in several key states.
I guesss it all depends on how you view it. This is a huge victory for the protection of traditional marriage. The homosexual "rights" crowd has set its sights on New Jersey, hoping to convince our lame-duck legislature to expand our state's already comprehensive civil-union laws.
They're rallying at the Statehouse for their cause. It's interesting too to see so much ink being devoted by the Star-Ledger to a pissant little rally. A whopping 200 people showed up. Whoop-dee-do! Tens of thousands of NJ residents turned out for the Tea Parties but coverage was minimal. To be fair though, the Tea Parties were held during the baseball playoffs so maybe the Ledger had other priorities.
The vote in NY ought to give our legislators in New Jersey something to think about. Leading the charge for traditional marriage was Democratic State Senator Rubin Diaz Sr. of the Bronx. It's not so easy to dismiss a minority democrat as just another "hate-monger" now is it?
His impassioned speech described a broad consensus that marriage should be limited to between one man and one woman. "Not only the evangelicals, not only the Jews, not only the Muslims, not only the Catholics, but also the people oppose it," he said.
And the people in NJ
do oppose gay marriage. Our government needs to address the real
problems facing our state and not get caught up in pandering to a vociferously
shrill band of whiners who can't seem to comprehend that their pathetic
exhortations to redefine 6000 years of tradition are a waste of everyone's time.
