Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

They just raised the bridge and tunnel toll into Manhattan to $13. They said it's for "maintenance."
Yeah, police salary maintenance.
A day after the authority hiked cash tolls at its bridges and tunnels to a staggering $13, a watchdog group revealed Monday that the most senior Port Authority cops are paid an average of $83.99 an hour — dwarfing the $58.86 earned by their counterparts at the NYPD.
Port Authority pay also beats the $63.68 hourly earnings of comparable New York State troopers and the $53.36 hourly pay of New Jersey troopers.
It's more than cops in Jersey City and Newark earn — and beats the salaries of federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents in the region.
And that's just their average salary. Padding overtime is a time-honored tradition at the Port Authority PD. So much so that the officers actually flaunt their enormous paychecks, daring the powers-that-be to try and curb the abuses. But of course their union won't ever let that happen.
The Port Authority PD, they Protect And Serve … themselves.
