Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

Play politics with disaster response? Yes he can!
President Obama may have suspended his campaign rallies due to Hurricane Sandy, but he managed to squeeze in his campaign slogan — intentionally or not — during a briefing Tuesday with federal emergency officials.
"The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response," the White House said in a statement about Mr. Obama's video-teleconference that he conducted from the White House Situation Room. "Forward" is the slogan of his re-election campaign.
Barack Obama never stops campaigning. Never. Remember that, because he's coming to Jersey on Wednesday to survey the damage first hand. Why? Because he cares about us?
He cares about our Electoral Votes. And his campaign team is giddy with delight at the opportunity to politicize our misfortune. The news now is all Sandy all the time. Who's got time for Benghazi? Heck, they didn't cover it before the storm, why rock the boat with only a week to go? Obama's got leadership, baby!
You want to know just how sick the Obama people are on the storm issue? It's party hats and cake over in Chicago. High f-cking fives for them. Heard LaBolt is telling them all "We're gonna shove this storm right up Romney's ass." They already got scripts out to their media support. Gonna hammer the governor on earlier statements he made about the role of the federal government, FEMA, take things out of context and try and paint him as some uncaring assh-le at a time when the Romney campaign is limited in its ability to respond due to the temporary downtime during the recovery from the storm. Media is already pushing the governor on it right now. That means these scripts, the plan, went out yesterday while the storm was hitting. They were prepping this thing to turn it into something politically useful to Obama as people were dying.
Classy. "We're gonna shove this storm right up Romney's ass."
Of course they are. The slick anti-Romney graphics hit my Facebook feed early this morning, even before we knew the extent of the damage — "Americans want less government in their lives. Sorry New Jersey, you're on your own for Sandy." — superimposed on a decidedly unflattering photo of Mitt Romney. And of course the usual climate change crap, noting that only Obama can stop the rise of the oceans. Usually. Maybe his superpowers were out for repair last night.
Meanwhile, Mitt Romney quietly pitched in with disaster relief.
Chris Christie offered a blunt lesson in Real Leadership. Not that Barack
Obama was listening.
