Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

At this rate the cast of Jersey Shore will get invited to the White House before Liu Xiaobo's family does

In brighter news President Barack Obama on Tuesday named Jon Bon Jovi, a staunch Democratic supporter, to the White House Council for Community Solutions.
Maybe Jon can help Gina get her job back at the diner.
"I am honored to have been selected by the President to serve on the newly created White House Council for Community Solutions," Jon Bon Jovi said via e-mail. "I have seen first-hand the powerful impact when people from the public, private and non-profit sectors work together. All of us have a role to play in helping address some of our nation's most serious problems, and I look forward to working with the rest of the Council to help out where I can."
Yup, he's still smokin' the good stuff.
I know it sounds crazy, but I honestly don't know which makes my home state look worse: the entire cast of Jersey Shore doing just about anything or…this. At least Snooki had the decency to get herself knocked out on television for my amusement.
I'm not even gonna get into asking exactly what it is Obama's new "White House Council for Community Solutions" does that 400 other useless executive branch councils pretend to do already.
That was just the windup.

What's the difference between the Obama White House and Jersey Shore?
One is a bunch of no-talent hacks yucking it up with D-list celebrities and the other is a crummy reality TV show.
As for which gaggle I'd rather see running the country? That's really hard
to say.
