Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
I missed out on Full Metal Saturday and Rule 5 Sunday because, you know, I was out having a life. Saturday morning Sophie had her very first lacrosse clinic. She took off with our friend Susy (who helps run the Rec dept Lax program) and soon was having a great time with the other kids.
Then it was time to get ready for her dance recital dress rehearsal (she did great) after which we dashed home to prepare for having a bunch of friends over for dinner. Sunday we drove to LBI to sign the lease for our summer rental house (two glorious weeks at the beach, yeah!) and then Sophie and I worked on her "inventors" report (Dr. Percy Spencer, inventor of the microwave oven. Why did she choose him? Because the first thing he "nuked" was popcorn and microwave popcorn is one of her favorite snacks).
Oh, Sunday was Mothers Day too. Tammy was born in Hawaii, her dad's family still lives there, and she has always wished we could buy property in the Aloha state. Sophie and I granted her wish! She now owns land in Hawaii. One square inch, to be exact. Hey, even Donald Trump had to start somewhere, right? (Aside to Mario & Brian — she loves it! So there.)
And now here I am on a Monday morning, back at work, and I'd be remiss if I didn't take a moment to thank my blogosphere buddies for linking to my humble little blog last week. Donald Douglas inspired me to note that Obama ignored a rally to save the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship program. Donald was kind enough to give me an honorable mention as one of his top commenters. Thanks!
The TrogloPundit ran a blog promotion last week, If You Send It, I Will Link It, and I took full advantage of his generous offer. First he linked to my post on Joe Biden's inability to articulate a coherent sentence (Let's make him spell avacadoe). And later in the week the government's regulation of yard sales made him wonder "Does this mean I can sue that old lady down the street?" Probably not, but you might to be able to visit her in prison after the feds haul her away!Scott Martin at Conservatism Today compiles a weekly roundup of what he calls the Best of the Conservative Web. He liked how I noted that The Republican Party is Seriously F'd Up.
Robert Stacy McCain and his trusty sidekick Smitty declared last week to be National Offend a Feminist Week. He requested that bloggers do their best to write posts offensive to feminists, include a link back to his blog, and he'll give you a shout-out at the end of the week. I dutifully complied but then his weekend roundup left me out in the cold! I even emailed the dude to be sure he saw my post, but did he acknowledge me? No! What am I, some kind of blogospheric mushroom? I somewhat impertinently questioned his manhood in the roundup post's comments and he blamed the oversight on being hungover, or something. So all is forgiven, because as you folks know, me and hangovers are well acquainted.
Last, but not least, The Patriot Room
voted my post on
New Jersey allowing kids to take the GED test in Spanish
as one of their Top Reader Submissions of the Week. Thanks guys!
