Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
It was 2 years ago today that I took the plunge into the blogosphere. Armed with a copy of blosxom.pl and an old Vaxstation I began a journey of political pontification. After a few fits and missteps I am now solidly ensconced as Just Another Blogospheric Mushroom. Or, as the TTLB Ecosystem would put it, a multi-cellular micro-organism. There is nowhere to go but up!
This is my 694th blog post. Ranking them in terms of popularity with the readers uncovered an interesting, if somewhat inconvenient fact. Three of the 5 most popular posts have almost nothing to do with politics. Here they are:
1. I survived Hannah Montana The Movie
The story of taking Sophie to see Hannah Montana, The Movie is by far my most popular post. Every day since I wrote it. The movie wasn't that bad but I guess I'm garnering a lot of sympathy from other parents.
2. Parents complain about school aide's past adult film career
Louisa Tuck used to be an adult film star. She cleaned up her life and went to work as a school lunch aide in Vineland, NJ. Naturally the uptight scions of that little burg have a problem with that. I suspect the hits keep rolling in on this post due to the photographic evidence I present in her favor.
3. Restaurant review: Fire & Oak, Little Falls, NJ
Fire & Oak is a trendy new restaurant in North Jersey. We were treated shabbily there. If my tale of woe hits them in the pocketbook it's all good. And since this review can attract triple digit hits every weekend I'd say I'm doing my part to put a crimp in their style.
4. Tech Wizardry or Big Brother?
Big Brother comes to a police car near you! The Mobile Plate Hunter 900 is a bunch of high-tech wizardry designed to snag ticket scofflaws at highway speeds. It records your license plate while your drive by (and stores it forever along with your location and the date & time) and then runs it through every local, state, and federal database there is. Privacy, schmivacy; it's all about the ticket revenue. And keeping tabs on the citizenry.
Original reporting by yours truly! During a San Diego vacation Sophie and I checked out the "fence" on our southern border with Mexico. It's not much of a deterrent as the accompanying photos prove conclusively.
Honorable mention goes to Religious freedom loses another battle to gay "rights". The "gay rights" lobby put a Methodist Church out of the wedding business. All in the guise of "equality" of course.
I'd be remiss if I didn't thank my two top commenters — Nadz and AnotherChris. I owe you guys a beer (or 3). And for everybody else who comments and links here; thanks for your insights and your participation.
Those two years have flown by. I'm having lots of fun blogging. I plan to
keep at it, and maybe learn some new things along the way.
I hope I can continue to earn your loyal patronage.
