Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Or so I'm told by my oh so Politically Correct neighbor. Upon seeing it her
first question was, "where is your Confederate flag?" And she then reminded
me that "some of your best friends are 'persons of color'." Well, yes, yes
they are. And some of them also believe in individual liberty and
freedom. You know, freedom to make your own choices without
asking a bureaucrat for permission first.
I shouldn't be surprised. Because to a liberal, not wanting the government to control every aspect of my life is such a foreign concept and so downright scary that it evokes in their minds the most viscerally revolting reaction they know — the specter of Raaaaaacism! Throw in a black president, and presto!, oppostion to his policies must be racist!
And thus they don't have to actually think about what opposing this socialist / progressive government really means. It's enough for them to pigeonhole me into the "racist" category and thereby dismiss anything I say as the rantings of a deranged hatemonger.
Because you see, a president who grew up at the knee of Jeremiah Wright and spends his days palling around with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and Van Jones wouldn't know actual racism if it rose up and bit him in the ass.
I"m certainly not the first guy to observe that crying "racist" has officially lost all meaning. It's been thrown at Stacy McCain more times than he can count although anyone with a brain can tell it's complete bunk.
The Race Card is a convenient trope for weak minds. It obviates them of the
need to engage in actual thought or consider that reasonable people might
(gasp!) disagree with them. Curiously though, it's only "racist" to
criticize liberal blacks Persons of Color. Pick on Michael
Steele all you want! He's a Rethuglican! Parodies of Condoleezza Rice are
funny, caricatures of Michelle Obama are off limits.
So, For The Record (because I wouldn't want any Persons of Color to get the wrong idea here) I will not be flying a Confederate flag in front of my house.
It looks much better draped above the fireplace anyway.
UPDATE 14 Apr 2010 21:07:
Uh, oh, I've made a very serious mistake!
And Bob Belvedere rightly calls me on it.
I am surprised at Chris.
How could he get it so wrong?
Up until now, I thought he was a very intelligent, insightful, and wise guy, but this posting really disappoints me.
How could he get such a fundamental thing so wrong?
Maybe he should star on season #2 of Jersey Shore?
Chris, I say this as a man who once admired you in a fully hetero kind of way:
I really had thought there were 6. Please Bob, don't shun me for my failure to grasp the fundamental rules of right wing grammatical constructions. I just got back from Disney World and my brain is fried. Can you find it in your heart to give a fellow a break?
That Jersey Shore crack really hurt dude. You know Snookie's not my type.
