WyBlog, the best thing about New Jersey since the invention of the 24 hour diner.

Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
The breathless announcement arrived in my inbox at 7:29 PM last night — TheOtherMcCain.com - New site for the New Year! "We're going LIVE at MIDNIGHT Eastern tonight! Hope you'll add the new URL to your RSS feed and/or blogroll and continue to link us in 2010."
Sure, I'll update my blogroll link. What are friends for, right?
Their new digs look spiffy enough, see for yourself.
But there is one really big problem. A glaring omission of epic proportions.
He's shilling for my blogroll link, but am I on his blogroll? Nope! What's up with that?
I link the guy, at least once a week. I even gave him a shout-out in my Ode to TrogloPundit. (Er, shouldn't that be Eau du TrogloPundit? - Ed)
I hit his tip jar. Never got as much as a "kiss my ass" let alone a thank-you in reply.
He sorta kinda apologized for that with a lame-ass post about how busy he was. Busy? As in busy jetting off to Pasadena to watch the BCS Championship game in person?
I get it, I can take a hint. He's Mr. Three Million Hits, with chicks hanging on his every word. I'm a blogospheric mushroom, kept in the dark and fed a load of shit. He doesn't need me; I can't advance his career. He's moved onward and upward, and even though I'm way behind him, he's forgotten that objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
I've never been much of a college football fan. No time on Saturdays to watch the games. But I've suddenly developed a keen interest in the Texas Longhorns. You might say that I'm going to passionately root for them with every fiber of my being.
The look on McCain's face when his team loses will be so worth it.
UPDATE 02 Jan 2010 23:22:
All is now right with the universe.
I am blogrolled at The Other McCain.
Apparently Fishersville Mike knows the secret incantation needed to get thru to McCain's email inbox.
But more importantly, Bob Belvedere launched his WordPress upgrade last week too. And he managed to get in a well-deserved vacation at the same time! Bob's new site looks fabulous; please make sure you check it out.
