Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
Three day weekends? Great!
Tuesday mornings back in the office? Not so great.
We seem to be encountering the converse of the "Gore Effect"; when Al's in heat, the whole planet's in heat too.
Jessica Simpson made some off-season moves on her Fantasy Football roster, trading QB Tony Romo for 49'ers tight end Eric Johnson. Let's see, Eric Johnson, Jessica Simpson and a tight end; there's gotta be a joke in there somewhere...
Everything old is new again: The Overbite Project brings Gopher back from the dead via an Android app. Next up? An Archie client?
Via Politico, a guide to the Obama family's favorite DC hangouts. I looked twice, but nope, the Oval Office wasn't on the list.
Eroding our liberty, one novelty lighter at a time. Students at a Phillipsburg, NJ elementary school successfully lobbied state lawmakers to ban the sale of novelty lighters, some shaped like toys, because children might play with them. The children's teacher lauded their efforts:
Former Barber School teacher Amy Russo-Farina said she knew she'd found a unique teachable moment when the usually quiet Jada Bullock, 7 years old at the time, spoke out passionately about how dangerous the lighters could be in children's hands.
Sigh. "Teachable moment"? Teaching our children that the government will
always protect them is more like it. What happened to parenting? You
know, when mom or dad says, "put that down!" Or better yet, when mom or dad
is smart enough not to leave something like that laying around in the first
place? Nope, free will and choice succumbs to the Nanny State
every time.
