WyBlog, the best thing about New Jersey since the invention of the 24 hour diner.

I am probably not going to live long enough to garner a million hits on my blog. But since when has futility stopped me from doing something? I work in life insurance; we take the long view. Rule #2 says to thank your friends for linking to you by linking to them back. And I have some very nice blog-friends who say kind things about the stuff I write. In blog parlance thanking them is known as the Full Metal Jacket Reach Around (FMJRA). If you've seen the movie you'll get the joke.
And yes Pat, I realize most people do these roundups on Saturday. I do them on Tuesdays or Thursdays because I'm Polish. (Er, not really, I'm tied up most Saturdays doing stuff with my daughter.)
And speaking of Pat, you guys should really check out her analysis of the great military strategist Barack Von Clausewitz.
TrogloPundit says something about all the "you're a racist" nonsense that's spot on. Similar thoughts have been rattling around in my brain too. If you're not sure if you're a racist, this chart or these pictures might help you decide.
Pundette found another example of Michelle Obama's most excellent fashion sense. Grandpa John calls her outfit a "Barack-o-lantern". It could have been worse you know, she could have worn this getup again. Or a Che t-shirt.
DHS-certified Right Wing Extremist Bob Belvedere notes it's all about the O. (But not the Barack-O-lantern?)
Go back to Grandpa John's for a great video of a Wisconsin grandfather opening up a can of whoop-ass on a bank robber. Packers take note.
On a more serious note The Classic Liberal reports that we're one step closer to having the UN tax us directly. This is bad news for anyone who remembers what 1776 was really all about.
I may have to change my mind about the benefits of charter schools if there are any more like the ACORN High School for Social Justice. The kids might be wising up though.
At last year's graduation the valedictorian, Sharifa Noble, stood up and declared: "ACORN has let me down." The remark prompted a chorus of boos aimed at the principal, Joseph Parker.
Slapinions gets into the Rule 5 spirit with Fran Drescher.
Garden State Patriot reports that Jon Corzine's gotten himself entangled in another financial scandal. Who woulda thunk it? On a related note, Dynamobuzz asks "Does Christie Really Want This Job??" It's a fair question. Corzine has really screwed the pooch.
Fausta brings us the news that Scott Ott of Scrappleface fame is running for County Executive in Lehigh County Pennsylvania. Best of luck Scott.
Read The Coalition of the Swilling and you'll discover that tort reform has dropped medical malpractice claims in Mississippi by 91% and medical liability premiums by 42%. Since Mississippi used to be the jury-shopper's venue of choice somebody in Congress should pay attention to stuff like that.
PrivatePigg ponders the constitutionality of government run health care and finds no firm basis for it. I agree. Meanwhile The JerseyNut informs us that ObamaCare defines tampons as a "medical device". Why is this important? Because Obama plans to impose a special tax on "medical devices". Call it The Tampon Tax.
Tigerhawk got 8/10 on the latest O'Quiz. He doesn't call it "the toughest news junkie quiz" for nothing; I got 7/10.
And it's not like we need reminding but Stacy McCain finds another instance of anti-personism (Dude, is that even a real word? - Ed) among the "save the planet" set. Meanwhile his sidekick Smitty serves up a nice hot cup of STFU to Michael Lind of Salon.
That's a wrap! Don't forget to click the links and tell 'em the
