Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
A big part of blogging is connecting with the readership. One way ProBlogger suggests to do that is to "solve a problem". The task for Day 16 of the 31 Days to Build a Better WyBlog challenge is to identify a problem and publish a solution. Sort of like "Dear WyBlog" meets the "Oracle of WyDelphi" or something.
But what problem to "solve"? ProBlogger says you can always "solve your own problems". Does he mean "blogger, heal thyself"? Not really. We face problems every day and we (usually) overcome them. Instead of just moving on we could capture the solution and share it with our readers. OK, I can do that.
He also said to try asking your readers to send you their questions. See, I thought this was a "Dear WyBlog" kind of thing! Just remember, free advice is worth every cent.
But I do know a thing or 3 about OpenVMS and come to think of it, Chris Berry recently suggested that I celebrate my 2 years of blogging by upgrading to Wordpress. I downloaded it, got bogged down in the MySQL install for VMS, and pushed it off to the side. I Googled for other sites that had successfully installed Wordpress on OpenVMS and came up empty. Maybe it's time to dust that project off again and post the results.
Or, you guys could have some fun and send me a few off-the-wall questions
just to see if I'm on my toes.
