Sorry Sandersnistas, your guy doesn't actually have principles.
Bernie Sanders will endorse Hillary Clinton at her Portsmouth, New Hampshire, rally on Tuesday, Clinton's campaign confirmed to The Associated Press.
The Dowager Empress of Chappaqua is his new main squeeze.
The Vermont senator's campaign announced his participation minutes after the Clinton team's email hit inboxes, with both announcements sharing the same language that the two former primary rivals will "discuss their commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top."
I guess he forgot the part about her being unqualified for the presidency.
"She has been saying lately that she thinks I am quote-unquote not qualified to be president," Sanders said. "Let me just say in response to Secretary Clinton, I don't believe that she is qualified if she is through her super PAC taking tens of millions of dollars in special-interest money. I don't think you are qualified if you get $15 million through Wall Street for your super PAC."
She's still in the pocket of Wall Street fat cats Bernie. For way more than $15 million too. Maybe she shared some of that cash with you to help you change your mind?
"I don't think you are qualified if you have voted for the disastrous war in Iraq," he continued, referring to Clinton's 2002 vote as a U.S. senator from New York.
Sanders also criticized Clinton's past support of trade deals, suggesting that that also undermines her ability to be president.
I'm thinking these quotes need to be in every GOP attack ad between now and November. Hillary's record in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Egypt, and Russia is one of failure and chaos. Everything she touched while Secretary of State has gotten worse. Her trade deals have cost American jobs. And her Wall Street donor list is a who's who of the .001%, belying Bernie's populist posturing.
A guy with principles wouldn't endorse all that.
A guy with principles would take a second look at Jill Stein's offer to take over the Green Party's nomination instead.
But then, if you thought Bernie Sanders had principles, you didn't really know him all that well.
He played you for suckers. He was only in the race to bask in your adulation while the Secret Service fed his ego. Now he expects you to follow him into the abyss behind a congenital liar cum career criminal in the interest of "party unity."
Pretty wild coming from someone Hillary once
said she's "not even sure" is actually a Democrat, eh?
