WyBlog, the best thing about New Jersey since the invention of the 24 hour diner.

Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.
Wankers.

Recent headlines from my Posterous Blog:
It's bad enough that New Jersey is a "blue state", populated by believers in the saving power of the omnipresent government. We have a smattering of GOP strongholds, towns that understand what it is like to work for a living.
But when they elect RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) I can only wonder why they have abdicated their responsibility to the principles of limited government, federalism, and lower taxes.
The Waxman-Markey Cap & Tax (they call it "Cap and Trade") legislation squeaked through the House tonight, with the help of three GOP congressional representatives from New Jersey. What were these turkeys thinking? It's OK to raise energy prices for every American? It's desirable to limit the choices we have when we want to heat our homes?
Remember these turncoats:
Leonard Lance (NJ-7)
Frank LoBiondo (NJ-2)
Christopher Smith (NJ-4)
They voted against you. They voted to raise your taxes. They voted to increase the price of your electricity. They voted to take away your ability to choose which car you can drive. The Heritage Foundation estimates that your electric bill will increase by $3900 per year if this legislation is enacted. Do you have an extra $3900 lying around? I don't. Other studies indicate that rolling blackouts and power shortages will result from the need to cap the emission of CO2 from power plants.
Their vote says that every time you breathe and exhale, they believe you are a polluter. The CO2 we breathe out is now classified as a toxic pollutant, akin to Agent Orange or Dioxin. They hope you will die for Gaia so you can stop polluting their utopian Mother Earth.
I hope they lose their next election. I will write a check to any challenger to their candidacy — preferrably in the Primary — to ensure they are sent home where they can no longer destroy this great nation. RINOs are worse than Democrats; they pretend to be on our side until it really matters, then they sell us out.
There are Republicans in New Jersey who vouch for Leonard Lance. They say he's a "gentleman" and a "statesman". Not by me. He's a bum. It doesn't matter what Nancy Pelosi promised him, I want to make sure he isn't around to enjoy the fruits of his treachery. Nothing is worth subjecting us to the travesty of rolling blackouts, energy rationing, and escalating prices that will come about because the enviro-nuts want us to freeze in the dark.
I don't know much about Frank LoBiondo except what I read in the Star-Ledger. If I had to form an opinion, I'd say he's a "go-along to get-along" kind of guy. Which is what he did on Cap & Tax. He sided with the Democrats in the hope they'll throw a few crumbs his way. Will they write checks to his re-election campaign? Don't make me laugh. He's outta here!
And Chris Smith? WTF? He's usually a level-headed thinker. He fights the good fight for children and victims of the bureaucratic behemoth. So why in the world did he vote to escalate the power of that behemoth by a thousand fold? He just consigned hundreds, if not thousands, of his constituents to the unemployment line. Their employers won't be able to afford to keep the lights on, never mind maintain their current staffing levels. Thanks Congressman, you screwed us, and we'll work to screw you back.
No More RINOs.
