This kid's got balls. He doesn't like Michelle Obama's new school lunches. And even though he's only 7 years old, he decided to tell her just how he feels.
Dear Mrs. Obama,
Thank you for trying to make my school lunch better, but you have ruined Taco Tuesday. Please bring back the old taco shell. I miss them. Also, the pizza is terrible. If you would like to try the new tacos, I will buy you lunch.
Thank you,
Trip Klibert
Whole wheat tacos taste like cardboard. Whole wheat pizza is an abomination.
Her Imperial Majesty's response? Eat what I tell you to eat, peasant!
In [the] letter, she explained that new child nutrition regulations were implemented as part of her "Lets Move!" initiative started in 2010 to reduce childhood obesity. The new regulations took effect in 2012 with the goal of including more whole grains, vegetables and fruits in school meals while reducing fat and sodium.
She explained that she wants students nationwide to have access to healthy food in their daily lunch meals. She also acknowledged that adjusting to new things can be difficult and thanked Trip for his feedback.
Notice how she didn't take him up on the lunch offer. She's not gonna eat that shit. Her kids don't eat that shit either. They eat gourmet lunches, because the Obama's are better than you Trip.
Trip's mom, Katie, said he "was so proud and excited that [Obama] took the time to write him back" and "now he knows the reasons for the change." Whether he understands the reasons or not, Trip still wants his old tacos and pizza back.
It doesn't matter what you want Trip.
It only matters that you do what's good for the collective.
So be a good little automaton and do as they say.
And while you're at it, you'd better knock off that whole thinking for yourself stuff too young man.
Your name is now on a list. You'll be watched. No more agitating for what you think is right. The government will tell you what's "right." They're smarter than you. More important too. Do as you're told and there won't be any trouble.
You don't want to get in trouble, do you Trip? Do you want your mom and dad to have to explain to a man from the government why you won't eat your vegetables? The man from the government won't be happy about that Trip. He might decide to take you away from such bad parents, seeing as how they didn't teach you to believe in everything your president and his queen say. Then the government will raise you right, Trip. Teach you respect for your betters.
Or else.
