Columbia students "thrilled" to be having dinner with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Anti-Americanism 101 must be a required course at Columbia University. Exhibit A being Barack Obama's years as a student there. And now, following in his footsteps, fifteen members of the Columbia International Relations Council and Association (CIRCA) can't wait to attend a lavish dinner date with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on September 21^st.

CIRCA Vice President Tim Chan told the newspaper that the group was "really enthusiastic" when they were informed over the summer of the possible chance to have dinner with Ahmadinejad. Chan reportedly said he had not heard any concerns from the group, adding that "they're thrilled to have this opportunity."

Fifteen useful idiots, "thrilled" to spend a night on the town with one of the monsters who held 52 Americans captive for 444 days. And Columbia University President Lee Bollinger, who ought to know better but sadly does not, will be their host. He'll lay out the good china for a murderous dictator bent on instigating nuclear armageddon; yet he gave Ann Coulter the bums' rush.

Because, you know, Coulter is evil.

It's enough to make you sick. Moral relativism permeates every facet of the modern university. Columbia is but a symptom; academia's age-old quest for Truth has been sacrificed to the gods of grievance. Black is White. Up is Down. Pure unadulterated evil is welcomed into the halls of polite society. Because for all his faults, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad isn't one of those knuckle-dragging Tea Partyers.

Dinner is served.
