With apologies to Kris Kristofferson and Janis Joplin...
Freedom's just a buzzword for liberals without clues,
And Obamacare ain't worth nothin' but it's free,
Feeling good was easy, doc, when Carney sang the blues,
And doctor, that was good enough for me,
Good enough for me and my insurance company.
But when it comes to Weapons Grade Stupid, ladies and gentleman, I give you … Jay Carney
During a press conference on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary called "freedom" a "buzzword." He was discussing Obamacare's effect in lessening work hours because it lowers the hourly threshold an American must work in order to obtain health care.
It's not anything but an added choice that they have that allows them more freedom, to use a certain buzzword, more choice.
As in The Great Depression gave 34 million Americans the "freedom" to work fewer hours. Or "choose" not work at all. Apparently Herbert Hoover was ahead of his time. All he needed to do was pass out free health care and the Dust Bowl would be just a figment of our imaginations.
Obamumism, and liberalism, are the antithesis of Freedom and Liberty.
Listen up America. You can be beholden to the state. Or you can stand on your own two feet.
Did they get you to trade your freedom for ghosts? Liberty for change?
Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish Ronald Reagan was here.
