Technorati and Me
Technorati is indexing me again! They had to make a code change to fix the problem with my blog getting stuck in their queue. Kudos to Eric M. and the guys at GetSatisfaction.com where they have "community powered support for Technorati".
Well, they're "sorta, kinda" indexing me anyway. It's on a 24 hour tape delay or something. So I never get picked up by Memeorandum because they pull from Technorati and Technorati has stuff I posted yesterday listed as my latest blog entry. And that's old news to Memeorandum.

The Democratic Party sleeps with the fishes
That's the message senior White House staffers apparently sent to Rahm Emanuel as he left to pursue an electoral bid for Mayor of Chicago.
At the 8:30 staff meeting in the Roosevelt Room this morning, departing chief of staff Rahm Emanuel was given a gift by Council of Economic Advisers chair Austan Goolsbee: a dead Asian carp.
This was an allusion to the Emanuel legend of his sending a dead fish to a pollster for whom he didn't care, replicating the scene from The Godfather when the Corleones were alerted of Luca Brasi's death with a dead fish wrapped in Brasi's bullet-proof vest.
Rahm's dead fish was wrapped in copies of the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune.
Like Luca Brasi, the Democrats' November electoral hopes sleep with the fishes.
