The future, and the First Amendment, must not belong to those who insult Islam

Remember when Obama said, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam"?

Well, guess what?

The future is now. And it turns out, the First Amendment no longer applies to people who insult Muslims.

Special speakers for the event will be Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and Kenneth Moore, special agent in charge of the FBI's Knoxville Division.

Sponsor of the event is the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee — a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims.

Killian and Moore will provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media.

Wow.

Say stuff Muslims don't like and you've "violated" their civil rights.

Well alrighty then!

Because to do otherwise would "insult" Islam.

Where are the boycotts? Where is the outrage? Chick-Fil-A never separated homosexuals from heterosexuals, but they were vilified by the gay mafia nonetheless. Yet a Sharia-compliant KFC can treat women as second-class citizens and the feminist silence is deafening.

I guess because, if they spoke out, Barack Obama would sic the IRS on them too. Or in this case, the FBI.

Thou Shalt Not Insult Islam. It must be in the fine print under the First Amendment, easy to miss if you're not a Constitutional Scholar and a Community Organizer.

Remember when liberals cared about stuff like free speech? Yeah, me neither.

Obamanomics, stifling wealth creation since 2009

Were you better off before Barack Obama usurped the presidency?

Yes. Yes you were.

Is he doing anything about that?

Of course not.

American households have rebuilt less than half of the wealth lost during the recession, leaving them without the spending power to fuel a robust economic recovery, according to a new analysis from the Federal Reserve.

From the peak of the boom to the bottom of the bust, households watched a total of $16 trillion in wealth disappear amid sinking stock prices and the rubble of the real estate market. Since then, Americans have only been able to recapture 45 percent of that amount on average, after adjusting for inflation and population growth, according to the report from the St. Louis Fed released Thursday.

In addition, the report showed most of the improvement was due to gains in the stock market, which primarily benefit wealthy families. That means the recovery for other households has been even weaker.

"A conclusion that the financial damage of the crisis and recession largely has been repaired is not justified," the report stated.

Gee, if only the journolistas at WaPo had "discovered" this fact before shilling for Obama's re-election. But no, back then they couldn't possibly tell the truth about his economic policies. People might have voted for the businessman!

Everything Obama touches turns to shit. Everything. It's nice of his media sycophants to finally notice.

Another Menendez crony is sentenced for illegal campaign contributions

The stench of corruption surrounding Senator Bob Menendez wafted around Elmwood Park yesterday as another one of his cronies was sentenced for arranging illegal campaign contributions.

A Bergen County man was sentenced today to two years of probation and fined $8,600 for his role as one straw donor in a conspiracy to make illegal campaign contributions to a federal campaign committee, federal authorities said.

Benedetto Bigica, 45, of Elmwood Park, had previously pleaded guilty to conspiring with his brother, Joseph Bigica, to violate the Federal Election Campaign Act through using straw donations. In January, Benedetto Bigica entered his plea in Newark federal before U.S. District Judge Faith Hochberg, who also handed down his sentence.

While officials have not identified the candidate who was getting the contributions, campaign finance records have shown the donations went to Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez.

Benedetto's brother Joseph is currently serving 5 years in prison for his role as ringleader of the scam.

Joseph Bigica admitted that between April 2005 and May 2009, he conspired to make approximately $98,600 in illegal contributions to the campaign committee of a federal candidate.

Oh but have no fear New Jersey. Bob Menendez is squeaky clean. It's only all these dodgy guys around him who are dirty. If it wasn't for them, ole Bob would be well on his way towards sainthood by now. Or something.

Obama and Christie really need to get a room

I don't know how much more I can take of the Obama - Christie bromance.

At today's joint press conference in Asbury Park, let's just say that love was in the air.

Or, on the ground, as they were obviously giddier than schoolgirls.

Thank God they're not holding hands…

Nonetheless, the butt kissing really got hot and heavy.

In introducing Obama, Christie invoked the controversy he spurred when Obama first visited in the days after Sandy made landfall — and days before the presidential election.

"We all came together because New Jersey is more important and our citizens' lives are more important than any kind of politics at all," said Christie, who is seeking re-election.

During his 10-minute speech, Obama returned the favor, referring to their last meeting when they toured the coastline by air and greeted residents in Brigantine just outside of Atlantic City.

"I remember something Chris said back then, he said, We cannot permit that sorrow to replace the resilience I know all New Jerseyans have," Obama said, "and it didn't, you didn't let it, you kept going."

But if you think that's saccharine, get a load of Barry blowing a kiss to Chris.

Barry's happy because Chris won a teddy bear for him on the boardwalk.

Sheesh, get a room guys.

Because I think I'm gonna throw up.

Shocker, school districts discover solar panel hype exceeds reality

They were touted as a "no brainer." Proponents said they'd pay for themselves. And school districts throughout New Jersey bought into the solar energy hype. They borrowed millions to install solar panels on school building roofs, and waited for the cash to start rolling in.

They're still waiting.

For school districts, the lure of solar panels to produce renewable energy that would pay for itself proved very tempting, but some who took the plunge are now finding the cost benefits are shrinking.

In 2009, voters in Bordentown approved an $8.5 million referendum to install solar panels on the regional high school with the expectation that the project would pay for itself with the sale of solar renewable energy credits, or SRECs.

But in a presentation last month, officials learned that instead of paying for themselves, the solar panels have become a liability. Now, about 20 percent of the money the district spends on paying off its accumulated debt is going toward paying for the solar installation.

Oops.

Sorry taxpayers, the joke's on you! All we really wanted to do was look cool with the Globull Warming crowd, and it's just too bad that you're stuck with the bill.

School officials note that saving money on energy costs is not the entire purpose of installing solar panels.

Bordentown's school board President Lisa Hartmann said the school is happy to be reducing its carbon footprint.

"The bottom line is the solar panels are up, they are creating energy, we are using the money for the school district and, you know, as far as being green and renewable I think it's a good idea," Hartmann said.

When electing someone to be a steward of the public's money my expectation is that the only "green" they'd care about has Ben Franklin's picture on it.

Which of course makes me Old Fashioned.

Chris Christie snubs Snooki, but rolls out the red carpet for Dear Leader

Chris Christie can't wait to renew his bromance with Barack Obama.

On Tuesday, Obama will head to the Jersey Shore to assess the rebuilding and recovery efforts in the months since deadly Superstorm Sandy battered the coast.

"The president, joined by Governor Chris Christie, will visit with families and business owners who have shown such resilience in the face of the destructive storm, highlight the extensive rebuilding efforts to date, and underscore his administration's ongoing commitment to stand with the impacted communities as the important work of recovery continues," the White House said.

But the red carpet isn't for everyone. Even though she's an up-and-coming businesswoman who's working hard to help rebuild the shore our governor wouldn't give Snooki the time of day.

Chris Christie, who makes no bones about his disdain for the MTV show Jersey Shore, clashed with its diminutive star while filming a segment for The Today Show.

The smallest member of the reality cast Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi went head to head with Governor Chris Christie on Friday at the reopening of the Seaside Heights' boardwalk, which featured heavily in the reality series.

The pair had just filmed separate segments on the Today show when backstage the 25-year-old stopped the Governor to address why he has been critical about the show's influence on the area in the past.

The incident was caught on tape by Asbury Park Press and it was clear things were frosty between the pair.

While not heard on the video, according to Snooki the politician had made his feelings clear.

'Getting told why we are bad for jersey. Amazing,' the star tweeted.

In the video, Nicole can be heard asking the much larger man to step back from her as they talk.

'Why are you standing so close to me,' the mother of one asks.

Leaning comically even closer to Nicole, Christie says: 'You asked for my opinion.'

Trying to subdue the situation cast mate Deena Cortese, flanked by Jennifer 'JWoww' Farley, tells the politician she is from Jersey.

'I know you are, I was talking about her,' the governor curtly replies.

Still trying to calm things down Denna said: 'And guess what? I thought you did a good job with the hurricane.'

With the situation not getting any better, Snooki explains: 'I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us.'

His response isn't audible, but as he shakes the girls' hands as he walks away it is clear neither party is a big fan of the other.

'He doesn't just like us,' Nicole then tells the cameraman.

Look, I'm no Jersey Shore fan either. It's not my cup of tea. But a lot of people love the show. A lot of people. And they vote too. Why would a guy running for re-election want to alienate any potential voters?

Because he figures kissing Dear Leader's butt is worth even more votes, that's why.

Mission Not Accomplished: Obama ends the war on terrorism

Hey, did you hear? The War on Terror is over.

On Thursday, President Barack Obama urged an end to the war against terrorism, which legally began once Congress reacted to the jihadi attack on the Twin Towers.

"Our systematic effort to dismantle terrorist organizations must continue" through the use of courts and police, he announced in a speech at the National Defense University.

"This war, like all wars, must end. That's what history advises. That's what our democracy demands," he said.

Remember when we used to demand victory? Yeah, me neither.

But, the New York Times is happy, so that's gotta count for something, right?

And thus we see why Code Pinko Medea Benjamin was planted at his speech yesterday. Closing Gitmo had to wait until "the war" was over. And now, the war is over, which gives him an excuse ("International Law") to close up shop and release all the captives.

Go home fellas! No hard feelings, right? And don't forget to enroll in our Frequent Jihadi Program where we're offering double heavenly virgin points for a limited time!

Not for nothing Barry, but before you go and get ready for your "Mission Accomplished" photo op maybe you should check to see if the terrorists are still at war with us.

Because from where I sit, I'd say yes, yes they are.

Six years of WyBlog? Holy cow!

I think Jillian is just as surprised at my stamina as you are.

My blogging stamina, that is.

Hey, six years on the internet is like an eternity in dog years. Or so they tell me.

A lot's changed since May of 2007. Much of it, unfortunately, not for the better. But I'm still here! — Nyuk. Nyuk. Nyuk. — Defenestrating liberals one post at a time.

Along the way I've learned a lot. Met some great people, albeit virtually. Pissed off more than a few folks too. So I must be doing something right.

My plan, if you could call anything I do around here "planned," is to keep on keepin' on. Keepin' it real. Really.

And with any luck I'll still be here after another six years!

Amid swirling scandals Obama quietly advances his illegal alien amnesty plan

Hey, remember the Gang of 8? You should, because Professor Jacobson just posted a very interesting observation.

At this time, the Democrats are like Thomas Crown in the flick, "The Thomas Crown Affair," who created a distraction over here, while over there, he was stealing a multimillion dollar painting.

But in this case, it's a total transformation of the American people, by immigration law changes to aid and abet the non-enforcement we've had for decades. All these abuses of power converging at this time are almost COMPLETELY distracting everyone who could bring pressure to bear to prevent the enactment of new law which without question — without question — will alter our demographics and governing philosophy to the point of no return.

And in a heartbeat I knew why the administration chose last week to suddenly "apologize" for harassing the Tea Party last year. We were all geared up to fight the Gang of Ocho's scamnesty and Look, squirrel! Conservatives and the Tea Party might be energized again, but we're energized against the wrong problem.

Obama's sacrificing the IRS, and maybe the DOJ, to win 14 million new Democrat voters, almost certainly guaranteeing the U.S. will continue moving leftward, inexorably slouching toward socialism. If he turns Texas blue the totalitarian takeover will be complete.

Did you know that Mitch McConnell has dropped his opposition to Obama's scamnesty? 'Tis true. Maybe some of our energy could be better spent beating him upside the head with a clue-by-four?

Did you also know that the Senate Judiciary Committee has already voted to approve this abomination? And that they packed their chamber with scores of illegal aliens shouting "Si Se Puede!" when they did it?

How's that for a kick in the face to the Constitution? Congress aiding and abetting lawbreakers. Press "1" for English, assholes.

The Gang of 8 bill, if it passes, will go down in history as a mistake as disastrous as Obamacare. It must be stopped.

Emphasis on must. Go read his post. He lays out scamnesty's odiousness in convenient bullet point form.

And back in January John Hawkins published at list of 22 problems with the bill, which is also well worth your time.

Let's not get distracted, OK? Yes, pounding Obama over his ever-widening sewer of scandals is fun, and worthwhile. But he's still focused on his end-game — the complete and utter destruction of everything the Founding Fathers ever stood for. He cannot, he must not, be allowed to succeed.

Another Obamacare gotcha: To sign up you need a checking account

And millions of Americans don't have one.

Signing up for health insurance under the new Affordable Care Act may be difficult for millions of Americans who do not have a checking account, according to a new report from Jackson-Hewitt.

The Parsippany-based tax firm's report is titled "Uninsured + Unbanked = Unenrolled: How Health Insurance Companies Could Exclude One in Four Eligible Americans from ACA Health Coverage and What the Federal Government Can Do to Stop It."

It explains that about 27 percent of uninsured Americans, who are eligible for tax credits to help them purchase insurance, do not have a checking account. But many insurance companies, the report said, require customers to pay premiums through a checking checking account. They do not accept debit or credit cards.

Hmm, why don't insurance companies accept debit or credit cards? Two words: charge backs. And a third word: fraud.

But in the minds of Obamacare backers, this is "exclusionary." And of course, racist.

"Federal inattention to this issue may effectively hollow out efforts to enroll the uninsured," said Brian Haile, senior vice president for Health Care Policy at Jackson Hewitt and one of the authors of the report. "The negative effects will be disproportionately felt by African Americans and Hispanic Americans, groups who already experience significant health disparities. These findings should be deeply troubling for everyone who is working to improve minority access to health insurance coverage and medical care."

So here comes the "solution." Another mandate! This time on the insurance companies. Curiously, all these mandates aren't "deeply troubling" to the socialist bureaucrats who churn them out.

The solution, the authors said, is simple: "the federal government could require insurance companies to accept commonly used forms of payment available to unbanked Americans, such as prepaid debit cards."

No, the simple solution is for people who want to be treated like adults to start acting like adults. Open a damn checking account. I did it when I was 11 years old, right after I got a paper route. It's not that hard.

Or even simpler. Repeal Obamacare. Rescind the insurance mandate. Give folks a choice about what products and services they purchase.

Because if someone is too lazy / stupid / dishonest to have a checking account, what exactly makes you guys think he'll be responsible about paying his health insurance premiums?

Wherein Chris rants about the futility of trying to beat sense into America

Anthony Weiner thinks he can be mayor of New York. Even worse, there are people who agree with him. Hey, why not, Mark Sanford got elected to Congress, right? Who are we to judge?

Meh. It's almost like being a lying scumbag is a prerequisite for getting into politics.

Yes, I can judge. Not just because I have this blog. But because I still believe in Right and Wrong. Which isn't the same thing as Right and Left, no matter what the progressives will tell you.

Protect Obama. At all costs. Right and Wrong don't matter to them. What matters is winning. And imposing their totalitarian worldview on everyone but themselves. That's how Mike Bloomberg can lecture me about my "carbon footprint" while hanging a standard window air conditioner out the back of his limousine. And Al Gore can complain about "climate change" from inside a house that uses more electricity than the entire nation of Botswana.

See, you're exempt from the rules if you're a progressive. Hence the rehabilitation of Anthony Weiner, via his wife's close personal connection to Hillary Clinton.

Speaking of Hillary Clinton. Remember those 4 guys who died in Benghazi? Old news. Because looking too closely at the circumstances of their demise would necessitate acknowledging some inconvenient facts. Like what was Barack Obama really doing that night. Who ordered General Ham to "stand down." And why was Hillary running guns and Stinger missiles to al Qaeda.

There was a time when Democrats and the media cared about White House officials who allegedly ran guns to the Middle East. (cough, "Iran - Contra", cough) Today, not so much. Now it's Protect Hillary, because she's the designated Great Successor to their Dear Leader.

Saying stuff like this gets me labeled a "conspiracy theorist" by the smug progressives in my neighborhood. Here's a story. A local journalist was giddy because she got retweeted by Buzz Aldrin. Pretty cool, right? So I congratulated her, and mentioned that I'd met him once. Her response? She was amazed I didn't think the moon landings were faked, because that's what all the conspiracy theory nuts like me think.

If this is the shit these people say to my face, I can only imagine what's said behind my back. Good thing I don't have feelings.

But, with their slavish devotion to Obama, it isn't about whether or not I'm paranoid. It's whether or not I'm paranoid enough. Unshakeable faith in the benevolence of this government, that's something way creepier than any conspiracy theory. Especially when yesterday's conspiracy theory is today's headline.

And I suspect they'd all get quite the yuck if the IRS crawled up my ass with a microscope. It'd serve me right, for doubting Dear Leader. He's enlightened, just like them. Even when he's spying on reporters. Because those "reporters" work for Fox News.

Real Reporters work for the New York Times. Real Reporters toe the progressive line. They shape the narrative for our own good.

My progressive friends hold these shibboleths to be pre-ordained, that

Affirmative action is necessary to achieve equality of outcome;

Guns are always bad, except in the hands of DHS and the police;

Undocumented immigrants deserve all the benefits of citizenship with none of the responsibilities;

Free health care is everyone's birthright;

Rich people don't pay their fair share in taxes;

And,

Corporations are evil, but government agencies are benevolent stewards of the public trust.

To enforce their dogma, government is instituted over the citizenry, deriving its power from the righteousness of the progressive cause, and doling out Rights within strictly constrained limits so as to ensure the supremacy of the ruling class.

And if you don't sign on to their progressive utopia? Then you're a "nut."

Woe unto Patrick Henry if today he'd said "Give me liberty or give me death!" The progessives would shuffle him off for psychiatric evaluation in a heartbeat. He'd never get a gun permit after an ouburst like that.

Freedom? Sure we're "free." Pay no attention to the bureaucrat behind the curtain.

Paterson, NJ Democrats love Hamas, and Chris Christie

The democrats in Paterson, New Jersey have had quite a week.

First they flew a Palestinian flag over City Hall. Because, you know, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Or something.

And then they crossed the aisle to endorse Chris Christie for re-election. Because our governor has never met a terrorist-sympathizing Muslim lawyer he couldn't elevate to a Superior Court Judgeship.

But hey, if Christie's gotta cavort with jihadis to get re-elected, that's just good politics, right?

Obama's FCC plans to allow more sex, profanity, and nudity on prime-time TV

Imagine nightly "wardrobe malfunctions," without repercussions. Because network television's race to the bottom will soon be complete, once the boob tube starts intentionally showing actual boobs, in prime-time, while children are watching. Sex. Nudity. Profanity. It's all going to be fair game when the FCC abolishes their broadcast indecency rules.

If you thought that our television channels were already saturated with enough sex, vulgarity and profanity you may want to brace yourself — the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing changes to its guidelines which would allow more racy content to infiltrate the small screen — during hours when kids could tune in.

A public notice posted on the regulatory agency's website last month said that the Commission is launching a review that may end the prohibition of expletives and certain images of nudity on television. The FCC had first given the public until May 20, to weigh in on the hot-button issue, but that deadline was recently extended to June 19.

I guess the good news is they postponed the deadline from yesterday. The bad news is, you'll note I didn't say "if" the FCC abolishes their indecency rules.

We all know how this will play out, because sexualizing our children is part and parcel of the liberal agenda. They put Planned Parenthood in the classroom, promote homosexual activism day and night, and pass out comdoms and Plan B like candy. Co-opting children's television to promote the same agenda is their next logical step.

And don't try telling me it's about "freedom of speech" or some other lofty-sounding principle, because the rules against showing smoking, drinking alcohol, or taking drugs will remain in place. And God forbid TV shows someone eating unhealthy food! But pornography and foul language are A-OK? Who in their right mind believes that?

Teen invents supercapacitor cell phone charger, but can it store 1.21 gigawatts?

Imagine charging your cell phone in 20 seconds.

So far, the energy-storage device has powered only an LED light, but it has the potential to do much more.

The future certainly looks bright for 18-year-old Eesha Khare, who pocketed a $50,000 prize for the Young Scientist award from the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Ariz., for her tiny and possibly revolutionary device.

Khare sees the device as potentially powering car batteries, cellphones or any electronics that could use a rechargeable battery.

"My cellphone always dies," Khare explained to NBC San Francisco, when asked what inspired her invention.

Connecting the dots: Obama -> IRS Union Chief -> Tea Party harassment

If this isn't a smoking gun, I don't know what is — Obama met with IRS union chief the day before agency started targeting conservatives.

This explains things…

President Obama met with anti-Tea Party IRS union chief Colleen Kelly in the White House the day before the agency targeted Tea Party.

The Spectator broke the news:

"For me, it's about collaboration." — National Treasury Employees Union President Colleen Kelley on the relationship between the anti-Tea Party IRS union and the Obama White House.

Ms. Kelley's union enthusiastically endorsed President Obama in 2008 and 2012. Her union proudly supports anti-Tea-Party candidates with big monetary donations. She visited the White House once, to meet directly with President Obama. And one day later the IRS unleashed a full-scale war on Conservative Tea Party groups.

But I'm sure all that is just a coincidence.

According to the White House Visitors Log, provided here in searchable form by U.S. News and World Report, the president of the anti-Tea Party National Treasury Employees Union, Colleen Kelley, visited the White House at 12:30pm that Wednesday noon time of March 31st, 2010.

The White House lists the IRS union leader's visit this way:

In White House language, "POTUS" stands for "President of the United States."

The very next day after her White House meeting with the President, according to the Treasury Department's Inspector General's Report, IRS employees — the same employees who belong to the NTEU — set to work in earnest targeting the Tea Party and conservative groups around America.

In short: the very day after the president of the quite publicly anti-Tea Party labor union — the union for IRS employees — met with President Obama, the manager of the IRS "Determinations Unit Program agreed" to open a "Sensitive Case report on the Tea Party cases." As stated by the IG report.

Do you still believe Obama when he says he found out about IRS malfeasance by reading news reports? Because if you do, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn you can have, cheap.

New media spin: IRS should have targeted big GOP groups like Karl Rove and Koch Brothers

It's obvious that the media is in full-on damage control mode, pulling out all the stops to protect Dear Leader from the scandals swarming around his presidency. Today's Star-Ledger trumpeted the headline — IRS Probe Ignored Most Influential Groups. Because it's not really a scandal if they only went after little guys. The Real Problem is they "ignored" Karl Rove and the Koch Brothers.

"The IRS goes AWOL when wealthy and powerful forces want to break the law in order to hide their wrongful efforts and secret political influence," said Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democrat who is among a small Senate group pushing campaign finance reform measures that would force these big outside groups to disclose their donors. "Picking on the little guy is a pretty lousy thing to do."

Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS and the Koch brothers' Americans for Prosperity were among those that spent tens of millions of dollars on TV ads and get-out-the-vote efforts to help Republicans.

And yet those groups so far have escaped investigations into whether they have crossed the blurry line under the law between what constitutes a tax-exempt "social welfare" organization that is free from donor reporting requirements and a political committee subject to taxes and disclosures.

See, the problem isn't that the IRS targeted conservative groups; the problem is that the IRS targeted the wrong conservative groups! Why did they waste their time on the small potatoes when shutting down those evil Koch Brothers would have been much more effective? The IRS wasn't malevolent; they were inefficient!

Is that a great spin or what?

Obama to Tea Party: We're from the government and we're here to harass you

When the Obama Administration doesn't like you, they really let you know it. Here's a chilling account of one woman's ordeal after submitting a tax-exempt application for her Tea Party group, as related by Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas).

In the 3 years since she applied for tax-exempt status for her tea party group — beginning December 2010:

Visited by the FBI domestic terrorism Unit.

Her personal Returns and Business returns both audited by the IRS.

She received 4 FBI Inquiries.

Her Business received unsolicited Audits by OSHA, Commissioner of Environmental Quality and the ATF Twice!!

She had never been Audited or met any of these Agencies until she applied to the IRS for Status for her Tea Party.

Rep. Brady then asks, "Is this still America?"

No Congressman, it's Chicago on the Potomac.

Now let me ask you folks a question. Could something like what this lady experienced have possibly occured without White House involvement?

C'mon, be honest.

Because I can't see how anyone but "a Senior Administration Official" would have enough juice to align all those agencies against her.

There is only one possible conclusion here: Barack Obama is out of control.

"Forward" to Tyranny: Obama promotes IRS Tea Party inquisitor to Obamacare enforcer

The question isn't whether or not we're paranoid. The question is whether or not we're paranoid enough.

Because the Obama Administration took the IRS executive responsible for overseeing Tea Party persecutions and put her in charge of enforcing Obamacare.

The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.

Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS' Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.

Since a picture is worth 1,000 words, I swiped this one from Facebook:

Ms. Ingram also earned $103,390 in bonuses for persecuting Tea Party members. And that's peanuts compared to what Barry's gonna pay her when she starts denying medical treatment to us.

Are you waking up yet America? Your government is out of control.

First they came for the Tea Partyers, but you did nothing because you hate those racist Tea Baggers just like MSNBC told you to.

Then they came for the Associated Press, but you weren't paying attention because Glee and American Idol were on.

When they played favorites with the environmentalists you said "good" because you despise those evil oil dudes, especially every time you gas up your SUV.

After they left 4 Americans to die in Libya you said it was no big deal because they were partying with Beyonce and she's way cooler than those baby-killer military psychos who probably got what they deserved.

The guy they locked up for making a movie is still in jail but you say that's OK because he should have known Islam is a Religion of Peace and besides every guy who violates his parole deserves to be stuck in solitary for the rest of his life.

Yes, Obama's IRS is the Enforcement Wing of the Democratic Party

It's time to call this president by his real name — Barack Hussein Milhous Obama.

Except Nixon was a piker compared to Obama.

Nixon bugged a hotel suite. Obama bugged Congress.

Nixon tried using the IRS against his enemies. Obama stacked the IRS with so many Democrats they went after his "enemies" with gusto.

I won't rehash all the Tea Party, religious, and conservative groups that were subjected to "enhanced" IRS scrutiny. Gator Doug has a list. So does Taxprof. Those lists seem to grow every day.

In fact, the IRS seems so overwhelmingly politicized that it's hard for me to even believe everything I read.

But when Planned Parenthood has the power to torpedo a pro-life group's tax exempt status, what else can I do but believe the IRS is 100% in bed with the Democratic Party?

"In one case, the IRS withheld approval of an application for tax exempt status for Coalition for Life of Iowa. In a phone call to Coalition for Life of Iowa leaders on June 6, 2009, the IRS agent 'Ms. Richards' told the group to send a letter to the IRS with the entire board's signatures stating that, under perjury of the law, they do not picket/protest or organize groups to picket or protest outside of Planned Parenthood," the Thomas More Society announced today. "Once the IRS received this letter, their application would be approved."

Remember, Planned Parenthood enthusiastically supported Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. And they're going to make a lot of money off of the "women's health" provisions mandated by Obamacare. So naturally the Internal Revenge Service wants to keep them fat and happy.

That is, when the IRS isn't dancing to Chuck Schumer's tune.

In a letter still posted on his web site, and also signed by six other Democrat senators, Schumer called on the IRS to "prevent abuse of the tax code by political groups focused on federal election activities." Now, to be sure, the letter did not specifically mention the Tea Party, nor did it mention targeting conservatives in general. But I don't think it needed to do so in order to get its point across. In the aftermath of the Citizens United ruling, Democrats were up in arms about right-wing groups that might accept corporate donations. The letter even cites a New York Times story that prattled on about the same so-called outrage.

Schumer and these six other Democrat senators didn't have to hire skywriters to let the IRS know who they were concerned about.

But Obama would have you believe it was all because of an interim IRS commissioner, who he "fired" yesterday, a mere 3 weeks before the guy's term expired. Oh, did I mention that this interim commissioner didn't start his job until a year after the supposedly rogue agents in Cincinnati were up to their eyeballs in duplicity?

Can you say "fall guy?" Sure, I knew you could.

Meanwhile, the Director of IRS Tax-Exempt Determinations Office Is an Obama donor.

Amd the husband of Lois Lerner, who issued the initial "apology" on behalf of the IRS, is an Obama bundler.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official who apologized for targeting conservative nonprofit groups for extra scrutiny is married to an attorney whose firm hosted a voter registration organizing event for the Obama presidential campaign, praised President Obama's policy work, and had one of its partners appointed by Obama to a key ambassadorship.

That's the two top people responsible for scrutinizing tax exemption applications. They're both in Obama's pocket.

How about that Cincinnati office where this whole thing supposedly started? It's a hotbed of Democratic Party donors.

In the past three election cycles, the Center for Responsive Politics' database shows about $474,000 in political donations by individuals listing "IRS" or "Internal Revenue Service" as their employer.

This money heavily favors Democrats: $247,000 to $145,000, with the rest going to political action committees. (Oddly, half of those GOP donations come from only two IRS employees, one in Houston and one in Annandale, Va.)

IRS employees also gave $67,000 to the PAC of the National Treasury Employees Union, which in turn gave more than 96 percent of its contributions to Democrats. Add the PAC cash to the individual donations and IRS employees favor Democrats 2-to-1.

The Cincinnati office where the political targeting took place is much more partisan, judging by FEC filings. More than 75 percent of the campaign contributions from that office in the past three elections went to Democrats. In 2012, every donation traceable to employees at that office went to either President Obama or liberal Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio.

The IRS officials whose names appear in the IG report are also Democrats with partisan histories. William Wilkins, IRS general counsel and one of the agency's two explicitly political appointees, is a former Democratic congressional aide, lobbyist (clients included the Swiss Bankers Association), and Democratic donor.

Joseph H. Grant, who ran the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division that includes the Cincinnati office, is a former Democratic staffer on the House Ways & Means Committee.

Going after their chosen candidate's enemies is just another day at the office for the partisan hack unionistas of the IRS.

Are you still with me here? Good! Because this is tyranny. This is abuse of power. Abuse that reaches to the highest levels of our government. ABC News says someone in the West Wing of the White House "knew" and "authorized" the harassment of conservative groups. When you've lost ABC News…

We simply cannot trust this president, or his government. Everything he says is a lie. Including "and" and "the". These guys weren't kidding when Valerie Jarrett said "After we win this election, it's our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don't forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay."

Hell is right. And in case you're wondering, Valerie Jarrett is the West Wing. Nobody takes a dump over there without her permission. So just wait until next year when these same IRS enforcers get to decide who receives health care and who doesn't. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, unless Obama sics the IRS on you.

David Garrard "retires" from the Jets, paving the way for Mark Sanchez to keep his job

One of Sophie's friends is a big Jets fan like me. She loves to talk football, I guess because she has something like 17 brothers. Anyway, last week she was over the house and she said to me that David Garrard was the odd man out in the Jets' QB rotation. Why? Geno Smith, that's why. Always go with the younger guy.

Girl's got ESP or something, because today David Garrard announced his "retirement."

David Garrard, signed by the Jets as a free agent in March, plans to retire, according to a source familiar with the situation. The 35-year-old Garrard had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last year, and hasn't played in a game since the 2010 season. That knee still is bothering him, and he has decided that he cannot continue playing. However, he still is on the Jets' roster, but that likely will change very soon.

In a text to SiriusXM Radio host Adam Schein on Wednesday, Garrard said he had to "call it quits" because "my knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell after practices. Limiting what I can do."

Garrard's retirement would leave four quarterbacks on the Jets' roster: Mark Sanchez, second-round pick Geno Smith, Greg McElroy and Matt Simms. There had been much speculation the Jets might release Sanchez, who struggled mightily last season. But Garrard's impending departure means Sanchez is almost certain to stick around and compete for the starting job.

Translation: The Jets have been shopping Sanchez around but nobody wants his bloated contract, and the salary cap hit from releasing him would be too much for the team to bear. So since they're stuck with Mark Sanchez, they'd better use Mark Sanchez. Drafting Geno Smith made Garrard superfluous. Simple as that.

The stars have now aligned for Mark Sanchez. Matt Simms will head back to the practice squad. Greg McElroy will once again warm the bench on clipboard duty. And Geno Smith will be the designated #2 behind Sanchez so folks will gobble up his jerseys in the hope Rex will put him in after the bye week.

Nothing else makes sense from a business perspective.

This is women's health care

Last night, for the first time, my wife read a news account describing Kermit Gosnell's house of horrors.

Then she threw up.

Unfortunately, as I tried to explain to her, Kermit Gosnell isn't the exception, he's the Poster Boy for women's health care.

She said she's not ready to believe that. So here's proof.

Video: Abortionist twisted heads off living babies.

An abortionist who is now facing a criminal investigation would regularly allow late-term babies to be born alive, then twist their heads off with his bare hands, according to a videotaped interview conducted by three of his employees.

"Most of the time the fetus [sic] would come all the way out before he either cut the spinal cord or introduced one of the instruments into the soft-spot of the fetus in order to kill the fetus," said Deborah Edge, one of the employees. "Either that or twisting the head off the neck with his own bare hands."

"Most of the time we'd see...the fetus would come all the way out, and of course the fetus was still alive," she said, adding that the doctor's assistants could see the newborns breathing.

The abortionist also suffocated babies by putting his finger down their windpipes, and placed living babies inside trash bags.

Life Dynamics, Inc., conducted an interview with three female employees of a late-term abortion facility on May 3. The employees' names were released, but the facility's location — and the abortionist's name — is being withheld because it is an ongoing investigation. Life Dynamics revealed only that the facility is not located in Pennsylvania.

The footage proves the murders perpetrated inside Kermit Gosnell's West Philadelphia "house of horrors" were anything but anomalous, the organization stated in a press release.

"I think every morning I saw several of them," Edge said. Of 20 babies aborted in a day, three-to-four were "completely delivered" before being murdered.

One baby, whom the doctor believed had died, was born alive, opened its eyes, and clutched the abortionist's finger, as if to stop him.

There are no words to sufficiently describe such evil. Abortionists have no soul. They are agents of Satan.

But what about "first trimester" abortions? Aren't they "legal?" And "safe?"

Uh, no. Author Verlyn Klinkenborg of Harper's Magazine visited an abortion clinic for a 1995 article. After viewing the remains of an abortion at ten weeks, he wrote the following:

". . . I felt a profound and unmistakable kinship with the foot and hand in the tray, a kinship so strong it was like the rolling of the sea under my feet[.] … I was surprised by my own sadness, by the sense of loss that I felt[.] … I found it so much easier to be moved by the sight of the disembodied hand the size of a question mark gleaming under fluorescent lights. … In that tiny, naked hand there was the imputation of innocence."

Tiny hands. Tiny feet. Tiny humans, butchered, in the name of Health Care.

A writer from the Wisconsin State Journal shadowed an abortionist as he performed abortions in his clinic. He says:

". . . Christensen performed two abortions that day on women who were at the end of the first trimester. In each case, the tissue was suctioned into a large glass jar, filling the bottom half inch.

Christensen later poured it into a straining basin and examined it to make sure we removed all of it."

At one point, he picked up a tiny foot and placed it against a ruler. "Thirteen millimeters," he announced, "which is consistent with 12 weeks of actual pregnancy."

Later he held a tiny head. "Its brain tissue will be sent to the National Institutes of Health for research on brain tumors."

I suppose we should be grateful he didn't save the tiny feet as souvenirs, right?

B.D. Colen, a reporter for Newsday, witnessed a second-trimester D&E abortion. A D&E is the standard second-trimester abortion and is performed over 300 times a day:

". . . After dilating, or opening, the cervix, the physician used a curette, the gynecological version of a sharpened spoon, to cut the fetus into pieces he would then remove with forceps. A large petri dish sat on an instrument stand to the right of the of the girl's feet, and most of the red material in the dish was unrecognizable. But from time to time during the procedure the physician would tap his forceps on the edge of the dish — and into the muck would drop a foot, or a hand, or a piece of rib cage[.]

Having seen what I saw, I cannot for a moment abide the disingenuousness of those who argue that a fetus is not human, or those who convince themselves that abortion is not killing[.]"

Planned Parenthood doesn't want you to see what these reporters saw. They ignored, and in fact implicitly condoned Kermit Gosnell, because exposing him would lead to exposing the whole sordid mess which is the Abortion Industrial Complex. It's murder on a genocidal scale. A holocaust of incomprehensible proportions. A death toll of 55,000,000, and counting.

And if you are counting, that's 110 million tiny little feet.

Obama's IRS: Intimidating Republican Supporters

Compared to Barack Obama, Richard Nixon was a rank amateur.

I've said it before, and I'll undoubtedly say it again. There is no low to which Obama won't stoop. None.

Low-level staffers in Cincinnati my ass! The IRS rot goes all the way to the top. The very top. Obama's White House counsel's office learned about the persecution of Tea Party groups last month. But we're supposed to believe he only found out by reading the papers?

So the White House counsel's office knew generally that the IRS was targeting conservative groups in April, but apparently didn't know the "details."

Suppose you're some innocent little president, sitting in your Oval Office playing with your ship in the bottle, watching the news and all of a sudden you learn that the government that you are in charge of has been targeting your political enemies with harassment and bullying. What would be your first reaction — if you were an innocent little president?

WHY THE BLAZES DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME!

Suppose then you learn that your personal counsel kept the bad news from you. Even though he didn't have "specific details," he was aware of the program targeting the president's enemies and, presuming he isn't brain dead, knew the political ramifications of such targeting and the very real possibility that it could destroy the administration. If you were indeed just some innocent little president, minding your own business, what would be the first words out of your mouth when the White House counsel came to see you after the story broke?

YOU'RE FIRED!

I do not believe that Barack Obama first learned of the IRS's targeting of conservatives from "news reports" on Friday. That doesn't pass the smell test, especially since a close aide was told of the program three weeks ago. Are we to believe that the president's own counsel didn't immediately go to the Oval Office after learning of this and tell Obama "We've got a big problem, sir"? And the fact that the White House is now in full-blown circle-the wagons damage-control mode would suggest that their primary goal is to keep the president a thousand miles away from anything having to do with this scandal.

That's what you call a cover-up. Especially since the current IRS Commissioner also knew about the targeting of conservative groups.

The Associated Press, via the Washington Post, runs this breaking story about the exploding IRS scandal. It turns out that while outgoing IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman told Congress twice in March 2012 that the agency wasn't targeting conservative groups, just two months later his acting replacement Steve Miller knew all about it:

IRS says current acting commissioner learned in May 2012 that tea party groups were targeted.

The current commissioner knew for a full year that the agency was targeting Tea Party groups and other opposition organization for aggressive auditing? And in the middle of an election year, no less? And yet, today Barack Obama insists that he knew nothing of this practice until last Friday.

That's either gross incompetence. Or willful deceit.

I'm going with deceit. Because, guess what? It wasn't just the IRS. Obama's EPA pulled the same shit.

Conservative groups seeking information from the Environmental Protection Agency have been routinely hindered by fees normally waived for media and watchdog groups, while fees for more than 90 percent of requests from green groups were waived, according to requests reviewed by the Conservative Enterprise Institute.

CEI's fee waiver rejection rate? 92 percent. Symmetry!

Then today, just to keep the tyranny in high gear, we learn that the same IRS office which coordinated harassment of conservative groups also illegally leaked copies of those groups' confidential tax return information to a pro-Obama organization.

The same IRS office that deliberately targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year.

Who's behind ProPublica? George Soros.

And why did George Soros want these confidential documents? To expose tea party donors to media scrutiny, with of course the aim of silencing them.

Are you detecting a pattern here yet?

It's time for people to go to jail. And by "people," I mean Barack Hussein Obama.

Kermit Gosnell is guilty, but did the jury say abortion equals murder?

You know what bothers me about the Gosnell verdict? Baby E. The jury acquitted Gosnell in the death of Baby E, the baby who "emitted a sound" before Gosnell snipped his neck.

Before Baby E met Kermit Gosnell, he was alive.

After Baby E met Kermit Gosnell, he was dead.

That's murder, isn't it?

Alas, no. Unless Baby E was a puppy. If Baby E was a puppy, the verdict would have been easy, and swift.

Because according to NARAL, what Gosnell did to Baby E is "health care." What Michael Vick did to puppies, that's murder.

So pardon me if I'm not excited about how Gosnell is potentially facing the death penalty. The jury failed to call abortion what it truly is — murder. They punted on the hard decision. Remember when Hillary Clinton was fired from the Watergate Committee staff?

You don't? Read it and weep.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy's chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation — one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman's 17-year career.

Why?

"Because she was a liar," Zeifman said in an interview last week. "She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality."

Hillary's supporters tout her House Watergate Committee experience as evidence of her tenacity. Yeah, her tenacity to lie, cheat, and obfuscate.

The actions of Hillary and her cohorts went directly against the judgment of top Democrats, up to and including then-House Majority Leader Tip O'Neill, that Nixon clearly had the right to counsel. Zeifman says that Hillary, along with Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar, was determined to gain enough votes on the Judiciary Committee to change House rules and deny counsel to Nixon. And in order to pull this off, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated public documents to hide her deception.

The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

Hillary Clinton is a lying sack of shit.

Always has been, always will be.

Tell me again why we should believe one word she says about Benghazi?

As secretary of state in the most transparent administration in history she ordered her chief of staff to warn a Benghazi whistle-blower not to spill the beans on Benghazi to a U.S. congressman. So, what is Hillary hiding?

That's a good question. One that Hillary ought to answer under oath. Her previous testimony, given "willingly," seems mendacious at best in light of the latest revelations emanating from the state department. And if it's determined she lied during those hearings, false statements made to Congress are criminally punishable under 18 U.S.C. 1001.

Hillary Clinton's house of cards is finally collapsing. I guess it's poetic justice that the most dishonest president since Richard Nixon will be her undoing.

Hot mic catches NJ Dems saying aim of gun control is "confiscate, confiscate, confiscate"

Every once in a while the gun grabbers let their facade slip. And when they do, the truth comes out. Yesterday, as 3 Democrat NJ State Senators thought no one was listening, their agenda was clearly articulated.

"Confiscate, confiscate, confiscate."

Amazingly, the rabidly anti-gun Star-Ledger provides a transcript.

The recording opens with what sounds like a senator or staff member saying, "We needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate" — although it is not clear who is speaking or if this is what she is saying.

It sounds pretty clear to me.

"They want to keep the guns out of the hands of the bad guys, but they don't have any regulations to do it," Weinberg then says, more audibly.

And nothing these three twits have proposed will do Thing One to keep guns out of the hands of bad guys. But punish law-abiding gun owners? Ayup, they're really gung-ho for that.

Cunningham responds: "They don't care about the bad guys. All they want to do is have their little guns and do whatever they want with them."

What part of "shall not be infringed" is unclear?

"That's the line they've developed," Greenstein says.

No it's not a "line," it's the United States Constitution. You could look it up. That is, if you weren't a liberal fascist.

At the Department of Education, Sunday is "Parent 1's Day"

That special lady who gave birth to you? She's no longer "mom." According to the politically-correct bureaucrats at the Department of Education, you shall henceforth use the term "Parent 1." Or, "Parent 2," the choice is up to you.

The 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will provide a new option for dependent applicants to describe their parents' marital status as "unmarried and both parents living together."

The new form will also use terms like "Parent 1 (father/mother/stepparent)" and "Parent 2 (father/mother/stepparent)" instead of gender-specific terms like "mother" and "father."

Because gender is anti-gay dontcha know.

Traditional families are déclassé! Heather has two mommies, and that dad guy just gets in the way of their right to copulate with the womyn of their dreams.

Except for when dad has to pay child support. Seems like all that politically correct bullshit goes right out the window when it comes to making sure Heather's two mommies can live in the style to which they're accustomed.

And if Bobby has two dads? I imagine there will be quite the hissy fit should the wrong one get a "Parent 1's Day" card on Sunday.

Chris Christie vetoes NJ early voting bill, Democrat vote fraudsters hardest hit

Aw shucks, the Democrats are just gonna have to keep cheating the old fashioned way. Because Chris Christie vetoed their early voting bill, and they're really not happy about it.

Calling the proposal "hasty, counterproductive and less reliable," Gov. Chris Christie today vetoed a bill that would have let residents vote at their polling place starting 15 days before Election Day.

The move was instantly criticized by Democrats who accused the Republican governor of trying to stifle the vote.

Under the bill (S2364), voters could have cast ballots in person at their polling places until the Sunday before the primary or general election.

Yeah, our current mail-in ballot system isn't insecure enough, so they wanted 15 days of unfettered access to the voting machines, the better to really rig things to go their way. Sorry, but that's not how we roll around here.

Sen. Nia Gill (D-Essex), a primary sponsor of the Senate version of the bill, said Christie's veto is politically motivated.

"The governor now joins other Republican governors who have sought to stifle the vote and limit access to the polls," Gill said in a statement. "Once again he is catering to his national base at the expense of New Jersey residents."

No Mizz Gill, he's catering to the principles of one man, one vote. Without a strong photo ID requirement the potential for 15 days of rampant fraud is just too tempting for your henchmen to pass up. Go ask Teresa Ruiz how it's done; her husband knows all the tricks.

Here's how you vote. Show up on election day. It's not all that hard to do.

What's Obama gonna say to Texas about creating jobs? Stop making the other states look bad?

He's not doing anything else this week, so why not pivot to another laser-like focus on creating jobs! Yes, just in time for golf season, President Obama is making the rounds of warm-weather climes to push the same old tired bullshit he's been shoveling for the past 5 years. Universal Pre-K! Higher minimum wages! More money for useless college degrees! Amnesty! A government program in every pot!

The first stop? Texas. You know, the only state that's actually doing something about unemployment. So presumably he'll tell Rick Perry to stop making the other states look bad.

Then I suppose he'll take a side trip to North Dakota to explain why green energy is superior to shale oil and gas. This is if by "superior" he means "more opportunities for his cronies to loot the Treasury." Which when you think about it is pretty much the guiding focus of his administration. Not creating jobs, because the only job Barack Obama cares about is his own.

I repeat: Do. Not. Upgrade. Twitter.

I did. And it erased every email in my inbox. Three Gmail accounts and my BIS email — gone. Hundreds of messages, lost forever.

But in their stead I now have 2 copies of every Twitter DM I've ever received, so there's that.

If this is any indication of the quality control RIM put into BlackBerry 10, well let's just say my quandary over whether or not I should switch to Android has worked itself out.

Who will be the first guy to throw a Peace Brick through a window at Starbucks?

In Seattle, they shall beat their swords into … Peace Bricks?

The city of Seattle is one of many that launched a gun buyback program in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut last December. Now, city officials have decided what to do with the more than 700 firearms they received, according to the Associated Press.

They've decided to turn them into "peace bricks."

What are peace bricks, you ask? Apparently they are like regular bricks, but "carry messages of peace," and they'll be placed in various locations around the city.

I can't wait until the next anarchist / occupod protest breaks out. Because those Peace Bricks sure will come in handy — for smashing store windows!

When seconds count, the Trenton, NJ police are only 20 or 30 minutes away

A guy breaks into your house and starts attacking your family. Your wife dials 911 while you try to fend him off. You'd expect the police to come to your aid, right? Hah! In Trenton, NJ the police say "call back later."

Police officials are examining the response to a 911 call Sunday night that left a city man struggling with an intruder at his building without any officers arriving.

Dan Dodson said it was 20 or 30 minutes before two officers eventually arrived in response to his wife's calls to police telephone numbers.

Dodson said his wife dialed 911 and told police her husband was scuffling with an intruder.

"I'm going hand to hand with this guy and she's calling 911, and they said to call the non-emergency number, and to call back if it got any worse," Dodson said.

When Dodson's wife called the non-emergency number, the dispatcher said there were no police units available to send.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Mr. Dodson eventually managed to eject the intruder from his home, without any help from the Keystone Kops. And then when they finally bothered to show up, they didn't even try to look for the bad guy.

The Trenton PD's message? You're on your own.

"I need to turn my house into a fortress, that's what I need to focus on," he said. "Obviously the police department cannot offer any level of protection for quality-of-life issues."

If only Mr. Dodson were able to legally and easily purchase a firearm to use for protection. Alas this is Blue Jersey, and guns are scary, so that avenue is closed off to him. His only option is a baseball bat.

Meanwhile Trenton Mayor Tony Mack remains under indictment, his city council says they have no money to hire more police, but they've got $3 million bucks to give Marriott's money-losing hotel, and city hall recently commissioned a bronze bust of Dear Leader.

I'd say their priorities are perfectly aligned, wouldn't you?

Democrat judge goes easy on Barry's BFF Lauryn Hill's sentence for tax evasion

It's good to have friends. Federal Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo, appointed to the bench by Bill Clinton, gave singer Lauryn Hill a slap on the wrist at her sentencing on federal tax evasion charges today.

A federal judge today sentenced Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Lauryn Hill to three months in prison, along with one year of supervised release that will include three months of home confinement.

The prosecutor had asked for the federal minimum of three years. But Judge Arleo was having none of it.

But U.S. Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo appeared to take into consideration the fact that Hill had recently paid her outstanding federal taxes, as well as state tax taxes she owed. The judge also pointed to Hill's past charitable works and the music and artistry that she has displayed over the years. In addition, Arleo noted, Hill had no prior criminal record.

Ah yes, the "music and artistry" defense. AKA, the Friend Of Barry Exemption. What's a million bucks in unpaid taxes when you've sung a duet with Dear Leader?

Besides, slavery.

I'll bet Wesley Snipes is wishing his lawyers had thought of that shit.

Because nothing offends a feminist like finding out that the gender pay gap is a myth

Yes folks, it's that time of the year again. Spring. And of course National Offend a Feminist Week, when a young blogger's fancy turns to wanton disregard for Womyn's Studies pedagogy.

And what better way is there to offend your local feminist than by providing conclusive proof that the gender pay gap is a myth? That's right Bra Burners, when all your overwrought hyperbole and faux-victimization is set aside the underlying statistics don't lie.

There's a mountain of data, research, and studies from sources like the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census Bureau, even a 2011 White House report prepared by the U.S. Department of Commerce for the White House Council on Women and Girls, that all say the same thing.

The gender pay gap is not a result of discrimination, coercion, or anything like that. To put it simply, it's a matter of women's choices.

Many women sacrifice pay for all sorts of reasons including security, safety, flexibility, and fulfillment. Their priorities are vastly different than men's. And when you account for that, when you compare apples to apples, when women actually make the same career choices as men, there is no gap. Men and women earn the same.

And lately, women are starting to earn more than men.

A 2010 analysis of Census Bureau data showed that young, single women who've never had a child actually earned 8% more than their male counterparts in most U.S. cities. The findings seem to be driven by an ongoing trend: more and more women — now more than men, in fact — are attending college and going on to relatively high-paying professional careers.

So, what are the odds we can get a congressional investigation into the newly emerging male wage gap?

NJ Court issues first ever domestic violence restraining order for an unborn baby

Yes, your unborn child deserves to be protected from domestic violence too.

Pregnant women threatened with domestic violence can get restraining orders for their unborn children, a state judge in Ocean County has ruled in a decision published today.

New Jersey law doesn't recognize fetuses as having rights, but women who are already seeking a restraining order for themselves shouldn't have to wait until giving birth to get another one for the child, Superior Court Judge Lawrence Jones said.

The child's restraining order would take effect only after birth, he added.

It's one more step toward recognizing personhood for unborn children. Your baby has the right to live without fear of abuse! And NJ law already grants children the right to sue their parents for damages suffered in the womb, ie from drug abuse. So Judge Jones's ruling makes perfect sense.

Even better, it sets a valuable precedent. The law now recognizes that a mother has the right to protect her unborn baby. It's something that should be obvious, but unfortunately isn't obvious at all given how feminist ideology worships abortion above all else.

So, score one for the good guys!

The job market might be starting to look good, if we were back in 1979

Good news America! The unemployment rate has dropped again! It's now at 7.5%, and employers are adding more jobs than ever!

U.S. employers added 165,000 jobs in April, and hiring was much stronger in the previous two months than the government first estimated. The job increases helped reduce the unemployment rate from 7.6 percent to a four-year low of 7.5 percent.

The government revised up its estimate of job gains in February and March by a combined 114,000. It now says employers added 332,000 jobs in February and 138,000 in March. The economy has created an average of 208,000 jobs a month from November through April — above the 138,000 added in the previous six months.

Alas every silver lining has a cloud. Or 2.

First, the workforce participation rate remains stubbornly stuck at 63.3%, the lowest it's been since 1979. Because once you've given up, you've given up. And your president has likewise given up on you.

Second, and perhaps more ominously, ObamaCare is pushing more and more people into part-time work.

Many part-timers are facing a double whammy from President Obama's Affordable Care Act. The law requires large employers offering health insurance to include part-time employees working 30 hours a week or more. But rather than provide healthcare to more workers, a growing number of employers are cutting back employee hours instead.

Those evil Rethuglican Capitalists! Always working to undermine Dear Leader's Socialist Utopia! Oh, wait, it's state and local government that's shunting their workers into part-time purgatory?

Consider the city of Long Beach. It is limiting most of its 1,600 part-time employees to fewer than 27 hours a week, on average. City officials say that without cutting payroll hours, new health benefits would cost up to $2 million more next year, and that extra expense would trigger layoffs and cutbacks in city services.

Nevermind…!

So take those upwardly revised job-growth numbers with a big grain of salt. Because thanks to ObamaCare everybody needs two jobs now, just to afford their mandatory health insurance. Or food. Take your pick. Just remember, the IRS won't put you in jail if you don't buy food.

Illegals flock to the U.S. in anticipation of immigration reform

The trickle is now a stampede.

Arrests of illegal immigrants crossing into the United States have nearly tripled in recent months — in anticipation of Congressional efforts to enact comprehensive immigration legislation, border patrol agents told CBS News Wednesday.

"Once the first group gets across, they call their family, they call their friends and let them know, Hey the time is right, come on over," Border Patrol agent and union representative Chris Cabrera told CBS News.

In March, 7,500 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas — which includes McAllen — Cabrera told CBS News. That's up from 2,800 in January.

Immigration into the United States had been slowing during the recession.

But CBS says hopes of gaining citizenship under new legislation and a rebounding U.S. economy are fueling the fresh migration.

Gee, nobody could have seen that coming, eh? C'mon down! The path to citizenship is now open! Don't forget to sign up for your Free Stuff and remember to please always vote Democrat!

Yet Big Sis Janet Incompetano insists our border is "secure." Uh huh, sure it is.

And proponents of the latest scamnesty plan will keep telling you it's impossible to round up all 11 million illegals and send them home. To which I say, if 11 million citizens suddenly decided to stop paying taxes just how long do you supposed it'd take for Obama's IRS to find and incarcerate each and every one of them?

The weather patten which brought us Hurricane Sandy was blamed on Global Warming. And Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and a dozen other Democrats recently called on Congress to recognize that Global Warming will force women into prostitution.

Whaddaya know, they're right!
